Another TP2 user here... I'm pretty sure I donated the first time around 9 months ago, but want to unlock a warranty replacement... don't know what checks you are using but it's the same phone model and same phone number, so clearly not commercial... once everyone confirms a paypal payment will ensure it works will donte... thx

not sure what you're talkin about, but if you want to unlock a replacement, then you have to run the unlocker and when it tells you that you've unlocked before, then you hit the donate button and you pay 4gbp and then it lets the unlocker continue. You're otehr option is to submit a ticket and wait. And your last option is to use a different computer and internet connection. The last option only works if you've never tried to unlock it before.

lol. yea, it's back to what it was. Which is ignoring tickets, so people have to pay for the free unlocker.

now, unless its your first time flashing from your computer or your home IP address this will still not allow you to flash the HSPL

I know that and will happily donate to the cause, as I've done in the past... the issue is that people were hitting that button, donating, and still unable to move the unlock process forward... and for the record, consumer replacements are supposed to be free, so you'd think they would have a system in place to verify it's the same type of handset and phone number, so you don't have to bother them with a ticket...

Sent an e-mail and opened a ticket.

I notice PayPal refers to it as a payment, not a donation.

Edit: Tried manual while in bootloader and it froze. Had to disconnect and remove the battery. Luckily the device wasn't hosed.

Tried again today. I was able to unlock. I had filed a ticket and sent an e-mail after payment.

I wasn't sure if it would work, so I captured the packets that the application sent and received. If anyone wants to analyze a successful activation in case the service goes down again, let me know.

umm...according to several posts yesterday, the issue no longer exists. it was temporary. only lasted about 24hrs.

Sorry I over looked a couple of files that are needed for the bootloader.exe to launch properly on the device. I didnt think that it would have dependencies being that small. I over looked them because they were already on my device when I checked if the HSPL would work. This is confirmed to work now. I flashed the HSPL on a new Sprint Touch Pro 2 this mornin at work.... without internet connection...

I will upload it when I get home in a few min..
