thanks for this..hopefully ill be able to bring my VzW back to life, considering its BRICKED at the moment...

I've been trying to download the Sprint stock rom all day and it won't connect. Is anyone else having this issue or know somewhere else I can download it? Thanks

yeah i aggree with u man all what im going to do is install http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=88967 and call it a day cause god these custom roms are so annoying and so many glitches i rather stick to the normal one!:argue:

In my quest to be the ultimate n00b, I have to ask just to make sure:

If I flash to a custom ROM, then I have an issue with the phone and need to return it, by flashing back to one of these stock ROMs, am I still covered under warranty? In other words, do these stock ROMs revert the phone 100% back to its "out of the box" state?

I came here in search of a stock sprint ROM but found a great laugh as well. lol. Thanks Jugs for the ROM, I never know if i will need it later on should something go wrong.

Yes, After you flash back to stock you may want to relock your phone as well just to be safe. Dont bring your phone to a sprint store with a custom ROM.
I just had a problem 2 days ago at best buy, My gf bought me a TP2 and she got my TP, but with the Energy ROM on there they couldnt update the profile and the data connection wasnt working. They screwed up, my PCS user name was still on the TP. So the stock ROM came in handy. I reflashed, fixed the problem, and flashed back to custom.

I'm having Sprint HTC Touch Pro 2 MW6.1, Unlocked and RHODIUM400_W HardSPL run successfully. I am living in Saudi Arabia, working on GSM network. Please tell me which is recommanded Custom ROM.

1) Which is the best compatible ROM WM6.1 to install on my phone.
2) Is it possible to install MW6.5 or it is not available.

thank you soo much for posting these. now i can have fun testing out different roms, and easily go back to the stock vzw if i run into any warranty issues.

I keep getting this error when trying to download the Stock ROM for VZW. Any suggestions?

C:\Desktop\RUU_Rhodium_W_VERIZON_WWE_1.18.605.12_R S_1.88.07WV_NV_VZW_1.65_0811_PRL58002_Ship.exe could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.
