In preparation of this new rom, I have a question. . . To keep things smooth running, is it best I install my various apps to the device or to my SD card? Does install most of your apps to the device produce lag, or lead to a slower rom?

I don't think it makes any difference where you install your cabs. Coming from the Diamond, having this much space is great so i usually install most of my cabs to device memory now. Only one I dont is mini since I have folder set up on the storage card so each time its installed post flash, all passwords and settings are already ready to go.

Yeah lately during my flashing binges. . . i have been using Sashami which i install to the SD. Might anyone recommend any better alternatives to Sashami?

I agree with Riley. I don't think it makes much difference unless the author says to install to main memory.
Most chefs have used SD card tweaks to speed programs opened or running from the card.

I install all my programs to device. I never get near running out of space so it seems the best route since main memory is faster than sd.

I can't find anything wrong with the update.
Fast, responsive, and stable just like the last one.
Great looking theme just to add eye candy to a fantastic ROM.
Battery life is good, WIFI works without a hitch.
Can't test MMS cause of Stupid Telus!
Look forward to your finished update with the other apps added back in!

I love this ROM :) so far it is really good! waiting was worth it. I must ask though. I want that beautiful clock in the screen shot,how do i get it? cab please :)

Its already there. Tap the top right corner just below the taskbar. 3 different clocks.

Thanks, I would have never thought to do that. So far, initial impression is 'WoW'! Honestly Mr. X, is there much you can improve on; besides importing new features? I think you've pretty much optimized WM 6.5 w/Sense 2.1. I don't see how it can get any better.

I liked my TP2 before, then really liked it after the unlocker came out, and now I love it with this new rom. The speed is lightning quick, doesn't seem to have the memory leak, and so far no bugs to report. Thank you for all your hard work. This hands down is the best 2.1 rom. Period.

I was running the 02-09-10 version until yesterday and it was really good! This afternoon I flashed to the newest version and no matter what I do ActiveSync will not work. I try to set it up to connect with my exchange server like I have dozens of times before and it just sits there acting like its trying to set up the connection but it never does anything. I can hit the end key and get out of it but when I try to go back and open activesync it wont do anything.
Anybody else having trouble?

Try rebooting your phone and computer and then active sync again. It usually does the trick for me.

I am setting up the exchange server connection from the phone so there is no computer involved... and I have hard reset the phone.

So it finally decided to work after I let it sit for 1hr 10min. I have never had anything like that happen before...:???:

Dont know for sure but i believe its a feature in 2.1 and 2.5 via your contact card bottom of the edit page in contacts.

I think I saw it the stock rom...lol

Hey Mr. X, 2 things I wanted to address:

1. Possible (minor) bug - When using email and you're NOT in scroll mode, if you slide your finger to the left or right it would go the next or previous email. However, it no longer does this (I know, I can just scroll in the email tab to the email I want; but it's inconvenient if I just want to skip one email and go to the next). Is it just me?

2. SMS questions: First, I LOVE the skinned messaging.

a. Is it possible to NOT have the on-screen keyboard automatically pop up when using the windows messaging?

b. I honestly like the new messaging more now than the HTC/manila messaging. Is it possible to remove or re-route the HTC/manila messaging, so when I click on a message from the sms tab, it goes to the windows messaging?

okay im loving your 2.1 rom its way faster then 2.5 n minor bugs..i found one idk its really windows media payer but when i use windows media player n open the camera windows media player crashes..!? idk why i guess do to the low memory..

Install the attached cab to make Windows SMS default.

For the auto popup keyboard, use HD tweak to disable it.

why not make the extra clocks a cab? I personaly dont care for it and think it takes up resources. I am on your 2.5 rom now and ran it all day .

It started out fast bu seemed to slow down through out the day. Not complaining, thank you but need stability and speed and flashed this rom but cant stand the clocks etc

Is anyone experiencing broken hapatic feedback? It hasn't worked for me from the first fresh install. I've hard reset twice, and performed clear storage twice and it hasn't worked at all.

It's not a deal breaker for me but I do miss the vibration when I touch the tabs on the touch flo and when I'm typing with the on screen keyboard.

Other than that, this ROM is solid.

Thanks for the video's as usual. I'll be waiting for a few weeks before doing the next Mr. X rom as my Feburary install is all the way configured and works just great:) Good to see this rom is still stable as can be.

Having to switch over from Calkulin's due to slowness and inevitable destruction of the rom over weeks. Miss the configuration options though and tweaks which make his roms awesom also.

yes sir... thats why heavy traffic of loyal Sense 2.1 users converted over. Mr. X and The X-Theme Team did a brilliant job on Sense 2.5 2012xxxxx. Its really all about quick links which is in 2.5, if you dont need quick links 2.1 is the spot. Also a few htc adjustment in setting, navigating the system etc. I might roll back to Mr. X 2.1 cause Im not that big on quick links.

chronster if you try Mr. X 2.5 you might get hook like a big mouth bass... thats fishing talk....lol

Couldn't agree with you anymore! I was running 2.1 for the last couple days cause i have always been a fan but with all the hype with 2.5 i gave it a shot.....again....I have been on for 1 day and so far so good.
After being on 2.1 i notice a little less response but not to bad. i know i pounded on 2.1 and it kept on going without problems. May be back here in a couple days

okay guys this is so weird .. i made some calls and i had good signal i always do at my house .. out of nowhere my signal faded and that has never happen .. n i call llike 4 times n the same thing happen ??? n again like 5 min ago i made a call n signal faded?? is there something wrong is it a bug ??
