I'm guessing 2 of your pins are shorted out. Either that, or the cable you're using has some debris on it that's causing contacts to touch the extra contacts HTC added for TV-Out functionality. Try checking your USB port/cable for lint buildup.

Hey also with the 11/20 version I tried to tether on my laptop (Vista) last night....now I never tether and was just playing, but I could not get it to connect past Local only...I also tried wifi router and it found MR X rom (I input security key 1234567890) but again on Local only...had a strong signal but I could not get it to connect past Local for the life of me....as I said I do not tether but already use a router to connect....I dis-abled the main connection but still was a no go...am I missing something....booN at tethering!!.....pretty sure I did everyhting I needed to do on my end...thanks and looking forward to the new release!

EDIT: Ok so I been playing and turned wifi on on the wifes TP2 and it discovered it and connected....so let me try the laptop again!! Ok so I tried laptop again and all is well....must have been a network issue last night...all is well...I knew I wasnt that dumb on this...lol

would like I little more speed but dont know what it usually runs at.....0.71mbs dl and 0.48mbs up


EDIT again: Now I tethered direct through usb and it just says waiting for network...wtf...shouldnt I be able to just connect and it will run?? Is this a network issue again???

EDIT: Ok using tethering right now through my PC to post....must be network issues....willl trylaptop later again...all is well!

Enough of this now....lets get that rom update!!!...lol

thanks, my charger was a lil bent. straightened it and it works fine now. Thanks

Anyone having issues with exchange not receiving mail as items arrive, it works fine for the first hour or so, then i have to manually s/r. also weather does not update automatically as well.

I tested the new ROM with my BT car stereo and I WAS able to end a call using the end button on my car stereo...SWEET!

weather auto updates is disabled by defautl (to avoid charges on those who dont have a data plan)...just go to weather tab-menu softkey-settings- and check auto update. for exchange, im no sure, i havent had any problems on mine, nor im i using the push feature, i set it to manual, so i cant help u there...

Ok guys, sorry i did not update, Like i said yesterday was not a great day for me. wasn't feeling well to boot.... most of my testers i enlisted never got back to me. some did however i did find a few bugs i have fixed now. today for sure im just working with a tester right now to get out a final bug and it will be uploaded.

To those of you on my test rom this will be a mandatory update as the album bug was still in the test i sent out. i cooked with the wrong FSP.

Expect great things :) im almost 100% this will be solid. in which case i will move on to visual customizations :)
