btw, i like the new background in manila, only problem is, i cant see anything that has white text on it..lol (settings tabs for instance)...

as long as you use the apps i have built in it should be fine.

i can post a stock landscape screen later on. but ive got this set up so manila calls \windows\panoramic.jpg as the default texture for the background.

See post 3 if you wish to set your own image.

Really lovin this ROM! No errors so far, everything is working great. I think I'm going to stick with this one for a while. Now if only the slider was transparent so we could see the bottom of our panoramic wallpaper...I guess beggers cant be chosers :)

if you are talking about the Arlin cab that a lot of people are using with the mighty rom, then no it doesnt work. tried that one.

Maybe a dumb question, but how do you change the wallpaper? I can change it on the home screen but not on the other tabs.

I'm testing your ROM... it's great!!!
In your MR.X Carrier provisioning, You have "other" and "Generic" options....Which it's the difference between "Other" and "Generic"????

I'm Live in Mexico and my carrier it's "Iusacell" the only CDMA carrier in Mexico. I have my carrier CAB.

Which option do you recomend????

ahh i forgot ill get it up today some time.

"other" is reserved for if and when a new carrier pops up or is allowing outside TP2 devices to be activated on there network... ITs a dummy cab that does nothing.

"Generic" is generic, no carrier settings just a straight EPST and Generic connection setup.


If you would like to Post your carrier cab i can cook it into the "Other" option for you and the rest of our Mexican users :)

I can't seem to overwrite the panoramic.jpg file in the windows directory. Using TotalCommander. File properties say it's "in ROM". I'd like to get rid of the "Sound of Music" background. :) Thoughts?

Also, how do you disable this panoramic picture mode if you don't want to use it?

hello again....

Its strange...i can connect to the internet without install the cab. But when i install the cab, a "settings-connections-advanced Tab-Network select-network managment" modem conection its created "iusacell", and in the user name: puts "mobilephonenumber@iusamipevdo.com" and the proxy setting "This network connects to internet" check box its unselected.
Its possible, store conetions setsings in the EPST menu?

well, the only issue is i need something physical, as i use CM Guardian to set the connection. with out that it will always fall back to a generic one. Let em take a second look

Maybe I'm in the minority but I like the panoramic Background. It was wierd at first, but I found a wallpaper that looks cool with it. Do you know if there is a .cab somewhere that adds the panoramic back so I can use it with future versions of your ROM? No a huge deal since I finally got everything working perfectly on yesterdays ROM version so I'll stick with that for a while :-P
