has anyone gotten tethering working on this rom? both a friend and i have gotten error code 67 when trying to tether... both via usb2pc and the start menu
any ideas?

try to put it on storage mode on initial connection, then goto start, internet sharing. Make sure you have data connection active when you are in going into storage mode though.

actually, i figured it out. install juggalo_x and mightymike's fix here:

restart and all should be well

The error 67 is coming from shortcut duplicates. Great if you fixed it via cab though.

Hey JD... great rom. Most stable that I've found (and I've tried them all). Also loved your work on the original touch.

I was wondering if there is any way to speed up text messaging. I'm not sure if its related to manila's sense UI trying to process SMS messages or what, but it's extremely slow. Not as bad as other roms, which would end up almost crashing my phone most of the time if I received multiple messages within a few seconds of each other, but it's still very slow.

The most blaring symptom is a 2-5 second break in music if I'm listening to music and an SMS comes through. But even without the music playing, it seems to take forever for the OS to process the messages. One message not followed by any others usually takes about 5+ seconds to process, but if I get multiple messages within seconds of each other the UI freezes up and I cant do anything until it's finished processing everything.

Like I said, I'm not sure if it's HTC's sense UI trying to process it at the same time as the WM text message service or what, but if you know any way of speeding it up, it would be great to know. Your rom would be perfect otherwise, even at its second release. If you can give some tips (reg edits or otherwise) or incorporate some kind of speed-up in the next rom, it would be extremely helpful.

Keep up the good work. We (my entire family is using TP2's) feel extremely lucky that you are developing for this phone.

We are all appreciative of your excellent work.

unrar the file with pocket rar or winrar i think its called on pc, i only use ppc to flash, the apps free. ill link ya. http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?soft=820

however! you only download a RHODIMG.nbh file... so you'll have to get ahold of a proper RUU or flash via sd card
