With Mike's rom, it my location was New York, with JD's it's Contest And Large Vol, and I'm not even sure if this is a town lol. The temp and time info are same as New York though, so I'm guessing it has to be some town near by.

Make sure you run QuickGPS and Google Maps/My Location.

I've had no issues with My Location/Weather in JD's ROM and I'm in NY too.

I did it few times already.

May be I should go outside and give it a try later. I didn't bother since google map has 5-6 GPS active inside the apartment.

The more I run it, the more I am impressed with it. Fast, stable, no glitches. Tried all of the ROMs posted and for the needs of a business user, this ROM is hard to beat. Hope the update comes out soon!

The only time the issue araises for me is when in my home. I've narrowed it down to be due to the Sprint Airave device for me. When I turn that off it locates itself properly.

I went for a run and ran the quick gps and it worked - it updated for New York, and I was about a mile away from home at this point.

Got back home outside the apartment and friggin thing changed back to Contest And Large Vol... damn it lol.

my phone just did a hard reset when i did a soft reset..lost all my call log.
