One other thing I noticed was my weather location showing some wierd town/city.

With Mike's rom, it my location was New York, with JD's it's Contest And Large Vol, and I'm not even sure if this is a town lol. The temp and time info are same as New York though, so I'm guessing it has to be some town near by.

Make sure you run QuickGPS and Google Maps/My Location.

I've had no issues with My Location/Weather in JD's ROM and I'm in NY too.

I did it few times already.

May be I should go outside and give it a try later. I didn't bother since google map has 5-6 GPS active inside the apartment.

The only time the issue araises for me is when in my home. I've narrowed it down to be due to the Sprint Airave device for me. When I turn that off it locates itself properly.
