Update: After a few days of using this, I really didn't see any difference between this and the newest Sprint radio. Battery life overall was similar as well as signal strength. I decided to just stick with the Sprint radio.

Tried to DL new VZW radio, site is asking for ftp login. Anyone know what's up with that?

For some reason I'm also experiencing an ftp internal 500 error when trying to download VZW's new radio. I'm using Ninja Duck Opera 10. Any thoughts on why?

Before I flash a radio I just want to make sure that I'm correct in doing it. I have my TP2 unlocked so that I can flash custom roms. I didn't unlock the radio, so can I flash say the verizon radio, or do I need to do the radio unlock program before I can flash radios?

correct. you only need to be hardspl unlocked to flash the radios in the first post (except for 1.40, you need to be security unlocked)

Cool thanks, was just worried about bricking my phone. My current radio is sprints 2.32.00WF. Just not sure if I should try changing my PRL first, to see if that will help with reception at my house.
