CFay Custom RUU for CDMA Rhodium
 

Hi, thanks to some help from cmonex, I have made the Custom RUU for CDMA Rhodium. This has been patched by me to run task 32 after flashing a SPL/Radio so it will not hard reset your device and leave all data intact after flash.

Made for my rom specifically but thought I would share for other chefs. Can be used on any Rhodium Rom though. :headbang:

Do you have to have phone unlocked to use this???i have a verizon tp2 will this work

PLEASE excuse my ignorance but I just wanna make sure I don't brick my VZW phone. Can I use this to update my VZW TP2 to any of the Custom ROM's , even a 6.5 ROM ??

Has anyone tried this yet?

This is NOT used to unlock a phone, it is used AFTER phone is unlocked to flash custom roms. An unlocker is needed first.

No there is not, i made this w.o an unlocker for use once cmonex is finished.

sounds like you may have had some communication with cmonex?
do you have any idea about timing? i know that patience is a virtue but I gotta make a decision because of the 30 day deal with VZW.

are we looking at a few more days or are we possibly looking at weeks?

She taught me how to Custom RUU in my Treo Days, I havnt talked to her in like 2 weeks so I have no clue.

Im already better, now its time to catch up on 5 days of school work :twisted:
Swine Flu was like death, that is the SICKEST I have ever been. I felt like I had no energy no matter how long I slept and it was just awful

CFay I don't know if you remimber me but I was over on the Palm Touch Pro,
but change phones (TP2) before the unlocker came out. Notice something about your post on both Thread,
you thank a lot of people (I sure they desever) But the truth is you do more for this communtiy then any one person!!!!!!

thanks cfay, i put this ruu to the test and i was able to create a rom. I just don't know how stable it was, because of course i couldn't flash it to anything.

Do you have your phone already unlocked with HardSpl???
Can you upload some pictures of this ROM???
What are the languages of this ROM?? Spanish???

unfortunately this isnt a cdma rom, this is the the program that will create the actual rom.

so this is pretty much just for radios then? because if you flash a rom dont you usually have to hard reset anyways?

Simply use this RUU in the same folder as a rom and it will do the rest.

so this will let me flash a rom with out erasing any of the data on the phone including contacts, text messages, pictures and installed applications

No, it wont hard reset your device if flashing a SPL/Radio.
