So is there any word on a fix for MMS on the new 02_16 build? I really want to see what NRG has up his sleeve for this one but not having MMS is keeping me from flashing it.

Im with you on this I couldn't get mms to work either. Im running it right now and love the rom, atleast since mms isnt working I didn't have to goto church today and ask for forgivness!

installed the titanium version and loving it.

BUT: is it just me or is battery life horrrrrriibleee?

i haven't used my phone for >1hr and its down >10%

EDIT: discovered backlight settings. 100% on battery power = default?

I don't think I remember seeing whether or not you're running the 23529 or the 21892 version of this ROM. I always stick with 21XXX because of stability. The problem could be in 23XXX.

To be honest, I would've already flashed this ROM before finding out about the MMS issues if the download had came with the RUU. Where do I download the ROM Update Utility needed to flash the ROM?

Yes, NRGZ sets the backlight default to max. Battery life is great on my current version Feb_04 Sense 2.1/21891 when set to around 30%. I can easily turn it up using the shortcut to the preinstalled myLight app if conditions present. Very useful apps come preinstalled with this ROM and I like that.

I'm one of those who has not posted in a while because this rom is so rock solid I never have a problem. I drive 12 hrs a day and stream about 6 hrs into my stereo and every thing is just about perfect!! Battery life is twice what my titan or pro was, and about the only time I reset is when my kids have spent a few hours clogging the memory with games. I doubt I will ever go to the 2.5 rom, too buggy and I did all the tweaking I need with my titan and pro. Now all I want is a rock solid rom and that is what this rom is!!

As to the MMS issue I am with USCC and am using the 2/16 23529 rom. I use sprite backup to restore after an upgrade. I always used level 1 upgrade (meant for use when upgrading the same rom). About 2 upgrades ago level 1 would not restore the correct MMS/SMS program, so I Started using level 2 (meant for use when switching to a new rom) and that did the trick. I am not having any problem with the MMS.

Could the problem be your restore program? Just thinking

Ah I see it now...overlooked it for some reason. Looks like auto-backlight dims it between 30 and 20 so that should be even better, no?

How about the data connection? I feel like that drains a whole lot...is there any way to put it on standby? Have it turn on every 5 min to send/receive or when i run pocketwit or opera...or does it automatically do that?

I love this rom, but im having some problems, the landscape rotate seems to go the wrong way, it doesn't face the keyboard. If i open the keyboard most things rotate the right way but program that start in landscape are rotated the wrong way and the g sensor will only rotate it the wrong way as well. is there a fix for this, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask as i seem to get this with every cdma touch pro 2 rom i have tried

Is there any update on the MMS fix? I've tried reflashing but it still won't work.

I've never had any issues with sms or mms on these ROMs. You will always need to check your settings due to the fact that these ROMs are generic. I'm running the 21892 version of Phoenix 2. I like his Leo's but these are just rock steady, and it doesn't take long for me to flash back.

If you're running this ROM, how did you flash it? From the SD card? My download did not come with the ROM Update Utility, so I guess the only option to flash is from the SD card, and for some reason, I can never do that. I don't know if it's an issue with my actual SD card or not, but I'm never able to do it.

Where can I get the RUU to flash this ROM?
