Nevermind...guess I solved my own problem - dialed *228 and did the phone activation thing.

Used to GSM phones (was on ATT for years prior to this TP2), so I'm used to your SIM card holding all the information regarding your phone settings/carrier data.

the usual, turn keyboard backlight auto off, turn voice command off, all push mail stuff, auto backlight, turn brightness down, enable x to exit programs, turn off bluetooth and wifi when not susing, also after installing everything make sure theres no unwanted shiznit it startup folder......

How do you turn off the animated menus? How much more battery were you saving?

My battery life has been okay. I programmed the end key to turn off all data connections on long press (start > settings > system > end key). So I just make sure to hold down the end key every so often. Probably unnecessary though. On the Sprint stock rom something kept turning my data connection on, could never figure out what it was, so I ended up using the good old nodata cab. For this rom havent had the same "data leakage" problem. But I turned off push internet on everything except my weather anyway.

Does anyone know how to turn off the backlight on the slideout keyboard manually? The light is always and I bet it wastes a lot of juice if you have the keyboard out a lot.

Am I imaging things or do I spy a Nov 3 release when I checked the hotfile folder this afternoon? I wonder what nrgz added. Anyone try it yet? Hopefully, I'll have time to check it out tonight. Although, I haven't had any problems with the Nov 2 release.

Please please tell me how to turn the keyboard backlight off. I can never seem to get it to do that. I searched ppcgeeks and xda forums and could never found an answer.

Love this rom! Grats on a job well done!

I do have one question. Any way to get the old onscreen keyboard back? Since flashing I now have this teeny tiny keyboard that is totally unusable by finger.

Well we already have WM6.5 ROM's, so it doesn't matter what Sprint does. They will never be as good as EnergyROM's. Fact.

Changes in 11/3 - Slider Icon Overlays fixed, and Google Maps should work again. That's what NRG said. (Seems like slider icons may have not been fixed actually)

just wondering if anyone else has had this issue...on other roms (stock VZW and mighty's) if i rename a font to tahoma.ttf and copy to windows folder, everything changes wonderfully. however, with nrg's i've noticed that everything changes great but that opera is converted to wingdings. i replaced the original tahoma, soft reset, then tried changing the font in just opera through opera:config. but no matter what i try putting in there, the config menu changes what i typed to read "wingdings". any suggestions?
