Re: |CRP|6.5.1|ROM|WWE| ★ EnergyROM "Photon" (23081/21864) ★ Weatherclock Manila 2.1

I've also noticed something is screwy with the clock. When initially set up, it's set to PST even after letting GPS find my location. I have to add a location near by to get the correct time zone, but this morning after the DST switch, the clock changed to the wrong time, and I had to reset it manually.

I had to manually set my time zone to get it to work properly. It was not able to automatically set this for me like in the default ROM.

Re: |CRP|6.5.1|ROM|WWE| ★ EnergyROM "Photon" (23081/21864) ★ Weatherclock Manila 2.1

I'm not sure if this happened to anyone yet running this ROM, but has anyone's keyboard become unresponsive on occasion?

I was running Beejive in the background - screen typically blacks out after like half a minute or so, and when I click the power button to show the screen, I notice that sometimes the keyboard doesn't work for me at all. I had thought I shorted something out when I couldn't type on the keyboard at all whatsoever, but after waiting for a few seconds after shutting off the screen and then back on again (admittedly, out of sheer disbelief that I couldn't type) that I realized that I could type on the second go around. If I kept typing and closing out of programs, and entering other software, my keyboard will remain non-functioning.

I'll end up pressing the power button to shut the screen off, and then pressing it again - and even then, I'll wait for a little bit (probably 3-4 seconds or so) before being able to input anything via keyboard.

This also happens to me during SMS (not MMS) messaging to me too.

i also have this problem. when opening a program that requires the keyboard it lags for the 1st 3 seconds then it becomes responsive.

NRG ROM's used to look even slicker
How about an invisible slider? And a retractable slider?

Glad to hear MMS is working out for you!

Unfortunately, I've got that same version of JD ArcSoft installed as well as the settings (save for the actual Name, I believe mine is still 'SampleMMSC2' or something of that nature) and it still didn't seem to work for me.
