Keep getting low memory message

A: look in settings & use the start menu layout switch to change to panel, CSM or Sense startmenu. [[5]] read step VII.

A2: Prior to flashing new ROM, Use Page Pool exe included in most Energy ROM's to set it lower. 10-12 should be a good start for you.

Great FAQ... but out of the box, default configuration, EnergyROM has next to no available memory? Wish it came pre-configured for optimal memory use... thanks for the post.

I dump Win startmenu & sense & cookie asap 1st thing right away.. I'm running 100MB free RAM always. Had 4 Opera screens going with 2 other programs yesterday, still had 62 free MB!!! Dump Arkswitch & take out of \windows\startup as well, another 2 MB...

1. If Sense seems to "freeze", try turning the screen off/on (pressing the power button). This usually works to bring Sense back to life.

2. I'm running the same ROM and after a reboot, you should have roughly 55mb free RAM. It's not much and if you use Opera a lot, that number will go down quickly because GWES.EXE likes to suck RAM. Once you hit 30mb RAM, Opera will start to complain. I used to reset my phone every couple days. But I recently decided I can live with the ugliness of the Panel start menu and that gives me ~80mb free RAM. Now I only reset once a week.

I was hoping you wouldn't notice! lol (and who are you calling "old"?!)

im on the new 29007 and i still have the issue where sometimes all of the text is not changed from the default tahoma font. i usually use Andy under Script. i dont know if thats any bigger??



See how "Appearance" does not show the custom font? the taskbar doesnt either... anyone else had this issue? i think the last rom that i didnt have this issue was 29005

I had this issue when I first flashed the 12-13 29005 ROM. I think I just reset all fonts to default in KDFont - reset device - and then set them to the font I wanted again. Make sure that you've got the latest version of KDFont as I've sometimes had some problems with new ROMs and using an older version of KDFont.

After going using BsS Tweaks to turn ON power saving model, the battery meter now indicates that I have 20% less battery than before the change. As a test I turn OFF power saving model and then my battery shows that I have 20% more battery, back to where it was before. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I was thinking the battery on the TP2 sucked all this time, and it turns out that my battery had a lot more charge than the phone and I thought.
