There are different locks on the phone, menu>home tab editor>lockscreen settings>change your lock, some report it works and others say it doesn't so see if it works for you.

To change the rows of icons menu>home tab editor>quicklink settings>change to what you want.

You are right now that you bring it up, but I would rather just switch keyboards and type the letter and it bring it up instead of back spacing to get it to work. I hit the thanks button for bringing that up, some people might like it that way better.

Install another lock screen then, just do a search for lockscreens and try the different ones out, I'm pretty sure there has been some uploaded to this thread also so you can check the paperclip, or you can try the one that I uploaded to this post, never used it so I don't know how it works I just tend to save cab files in case I need them later.

The Status indicator icons are quite broken on this ROM. If I plug my phone into a power source, and when it's charged and I unplug it, the icon saying it's plugged in remains. Just asking, but after you flashed did you hard reset again? Maybe you had files left over from the last ROM that are causing issues. Make sure you provisioned the phone also, if none of those work I would advise installing another task bar and see if that fixes your issue, there are some in this thread that I uploaded before so I won't upload them again, but if you back out to where you came into the thread you'll see the paperclip, hit that and it will bring up all attachments in this thread, hope this helps.

I love the Lock screen app in Energyrom can i get that app as a cab.. ? i love its feature that the phone automatically locks when the screen is turned off or the screen turns off by itself .. want to install on my ROM.. pls give the link of the CAB..

Appreciate the suggestions. I hard reset a few times after I flashed the ROM. The phone is also provisioned for my carrier, Telus. Shortly after I posted, I downloaded the stock 6.5 taskbar from NRG's website and that seemed to at least sort the signal notification icon, so it's a start. The battery icon still does not work.


I'll try another taskbar and see what happens.

what do you think is lighter: The "cookie version" of the energy rom, or the "standard" energy and adding CHT? I want the rom have more memory, but I like the customizable features of the cookie version. So I have been thinking "Standard" and adding the CHT. Any ideas?

Great Question!
I experimented with that same idea about 3 wks ago, but found (for me anyway), Cookie wasn't as "integrated" or snappy when installed as a cab as it is when cooked in. You also have to install Cookie home tab editor.

Could have just been my perception though

Right now i'm downloading the Cookie Reference to see if that gives me what i'm looking for - prob not as much eye candy, but i'm looking for stability

Thanks for the help but I forgot to mention that I'm running the non cookie standard energy reference 23121 and I don't have the option to change the lock screen at all. I was also talking about the start menu to change it back to 3 rows not the sense quick links. Any ideas?
