I found a modoco nodata.cab file, but it doesn't seem to work. My connection just re-enables itself for some reason if I turn it off in Comm Manager... Even if the "No Data" app is toggled to "DISABLED" for the "My Connection", it still seem to allow it to work.

Any ideas? Please someone help- need to resolve this before I leave for vacation.

I checked the documents list for this thread and don't see the disable data cab file anywhere...

Maybe you can try telling the local cell phone company that you want to disable all data. I know in some countries that's an option.

I use only NRG roms and have never had that problem with AOL which is my main account. I have had the problem with Yahoo mail. It keeps asking for the passwrod...I enter save...and it pops up again....This version, no problem. Does anyone else thinks it's crazy... all the different problems but only for some. You would think all TP2s would act similar. It must be our cabs and settings, I guess.

not to be a smarta$$, but you're saying that you can't get cell service down there so how about just using the phone up until you get there and then just shut the phone off, you're on vacation so is it really necessary to have a phone on anyways?

every time you flash , there are some remanants of the previous rom which remain in the memory ...Task 29 clears the memory completely.
(there are a few people (including NRG) who say it is necessary.n some who claim its a waste of time ..debatable topic this one..lol)
Task 29 overall ensures a cleaner flash , less SOD's and hangups..
hope this helps...please try n read a bit more on Task 29.
cheers

btw my first PUNCH ROM
