Re: + [ROM] [01/13/10] JUICY ROM (21889.5.0.87) [Landscape Sense UI] [XDA UC]
Anyone besides myself experiencing a broken backlight settings? One day the settings just stopped saving and now it defaults back to 10 sec before the screen dims which is driving me nuts. The only fix I had was disabling the WM 6.5 auto lock screen.
Another issue is random phone wake-ups where the screen turns on for no reason giving the impression I'm about to be notified of a new sms or email but then nothing happens.. This happens about 10-15 times a day and because I ended up disabling auto-lock my phone ends up calling random people. Is this a common issue for others or isolated and pretty just me.. :-( |

my outgoing texts are all getting stuck in the outbox... i had this problem on NRG's ROM a couple months ago... switched to Juicy since then and didnt have the problem.. well, until R8. the problem only occurs when sense is disabled. messages get sent using htc messaging. Is that the problem? i don't remember having that problem with R5 (r6 had messaging disabled). I'm on Sprint.
edit: oh and my texts won't show up in threaded mode even though it's set that way in system/text messaging... |

My workaround for Sprint provisioning...
Seems to me multiple hard resets are essential when installing any of these ROM's. 2 hard resets before installation 2 hard resets AFTER installation before you sync. The provisioning app will appear after the 2nd reset. I my case I provisioned the phone for Sprint. No network issues, text & e-mail work fine. As a business user I like this ROM very much. I'm now evaluating Titanium as it seems to work smoother in situations where I am multi-tasking. I'm a noob at phone customization but a long-time IT Pro... any recommendation for backing up my ROM config's? I don't want to cook but want the ability to restore a ROM with my personal settings and store it on the SD card. Good day! |

As far as backups no solution works perfectly, as there are many configuration differences between ROMs. I have read many people try to "restore" their phone having trouble, just spend the few minutes to run through your installers or use XDA_UC. |

Try deleting the top message in the list and see if the others will send. |

I just flashed R8 on my phone from R5 and all is well except the quick links area. I installed the juicy47_16_bg4all.cab to expand the quick links from 9 to 12 and it messed up the home screen. The quick links are now gone. Is there a different cab that is R8 specific for this?
