what I dont get is this has been working 100% fine.. all of sudden it stopped and I didnt install anything different (except trying android)

UPDATE: I sent a text message and THEN my text messaging started working again. I dont know for how long.. what could be causing this.. I STILL think its a network issue although my co-worker with the same phone (different rom) has no issue....

Update 2: text messaging is still working.. I wonder if it will work after a soft reset.. if the soft reset is what is causing this to stop, what would be the cause? I actually had to SEND a text to get the text messaging to start tonight after flashing the latest radio....

hope someone can help. most times when a text comes in while i'm using internet sharing (wired) or wifirouter, my speed drops from Ev to 1x to accommodate the text. then the speed gets stuck at 1x when it should revert back to Ev. any idea on how to get the phone to auto revert back to Ev at all times?

Still working on my text messaging issue.. I hope someone can shed some light.. THis morning I had someone send me a message.. I dont get the message ... I then go into the phone in SENSE (remember Im on the 2/1 rom) and try to send a message to him. I click send and I just get the spinning cursor and that it.. I have to soft reset the phone.. then when I soft reset and it is booted up totally, he sends me another message and it came through.. what is causing the phone to not recieve text messages?? could it have anything to do with the airrave?? at 2:30AM my phone does a backup and then soft resets.. it then re-registers on the network but it uses the airrave since its in the next room. any ideas? I am at work when I tried the text message and soft reset thing....

Install this on your device; Then go to Start/ Settings/ system and click on Update PRL.

you said you "tried Android". by this i assume you mean you installed something from Project Android at XDA onto your SD card. just a thought...those builds are unstable and eventhough it is supposed to all install on your SD and run in a different environment...maybe it corrupted your text files/reg codes?

after i "tried android", i had a number off odd things occur with my contacts in Sense. i completely erased all the Android stuff off my SD card and reflashed MR 6/20. just thinking out loud...
