This would be correct, you only have to uninstall if you have a different version installed, otherwise just make sure messaging is turned off from the task manager and install the cab Soft reset and your done

Definitely way faster than HTC. I grabbed Mighty's at about half the maximum of my 20Mbps Fios speeds and that was soon as it was up when everyone was hitting it. HTC site was like 5% of the speed I got tonight and that was at 6AM on the east coast, ended up using a fast mirror that morning instead.

So your on Sprint....which one are you using personally?

And I dumped the Sprint ROM...what is the PPST for?? Its a cab. Just wondering what it does.

I didn't notice this on the new change log, but does this new rom contain the HTC ebook reader tab and the document viewer tab?

Could i have a bigger wvga one this one is so small when i save it i want this as my splash screen and wallpaper :)

BTW Mike Great Work on the new rom i have yet to try it cause im sticking with my impact but the boot memory nicely done always good work no glitches when i use your roms however if i use other ones i always have annoying issues like overheating all the time not fast all the time memory hogs but yours are nice and simple so i can customize what i want on it Great work And looking forward for new Impact :)

does anyone have a cab to show the call history link in the home tab, i tried cookie mosters and it doesnt work.... also does anyone know where i can get the Flamerise theme........

You have to download CHT editor and in there are the settings to show call history

How do you back up your contact favorites within Sense UI? I tried to export a folder using PHM, but it exported my entire registry :(

But can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here?
I installed the MMS cab for Verizon from the third post, I can receive MMS just fine But everytime I send one out it fails.
Anyone else?

Have you tried reinstalling it? As odd as it may sound, it's cleared up mms issues for me repeatedly just by installing it a second time..

I have tried that, and no luck. So I went ahead and hard reseted since I have not installed any of my cabs yet, and reinstalled the the MMs cab, still no luck.
Could it be something in the settings?

The error I'm getting is (Message delivery failed or message receipt failed)

I'll have to use it for a few days because every ROM has it's honey moon period where all goes well but so far this is the best ROM I've used yet on any phone.

I am using the threaded one. I just flashed the ROM tonight, but a msg from me to me came through fine

I don't know about verizon. Maybe someone else could chime in?
I was told by the beta team that these cabs all worked...

use threaded cab from 4th post. soft reset. should work fine...

Yes. Sprint uses arcsoft. You can use MM ROM and install arcsoft from the 3rd post in this thread. Same thing. I send my friends MMS all the time. I don't know why you are having problems.

I have a Telus TP2 but My carrier is FIDO. I am stuck in the provisioning, what do i choose. "other" or "generic" (dunno what generic is).

telus. then edit the connection setting later (in settings, communication) to have fios. Prov is for phyical phone because it has settings like KB mappings...

I might get flamed for this but..

On the new Sprint ROM, the My Location Weather works flawlessly. But now it has me 20miles away in San Jose.

I tried using Quick GPS, tried using Google Maps to find my location, tried going outside, none of these alternatives got me closer to my location.

Is this just something i'll have to live with?

Have any of you guys checked whether or not we can go back to a default blank wallpaper in Sense? In the stock 6.5 rom there was no way to go back to no wallpaper.

Also I just wanted to say thanks to Mike for the awsome rom.. Its faster than any rom ive used so far . I installed co0kies home tab 1.6.1 and it works great even with the weather animation turned on.


Even if its only a couple bucks, we should all consider donating a little to show appreciation for all the work put into this!

I want to ask anyone here using Cookie Home Tab Mod how many quick link screens are you using? For me one quick links screen doesn't really slow anything down but once I have three screens with full icons in them the animations slow down quite a bit. Obviously I realize that this mod was not originally designed for the TP2 and for a much faster HD2 instead but I just wanted to know what other people's experiences were since I just started using Cookie's Home Tab not too long ago. I'm trying to find the best balance between having a fast and responsive home screen (animations included) while having as many quick link pages as possible (i'm greedy I know.)
