I actually will be hanging on to my TP2 as I still have some legacy winmo apps that I need that are not ported yet. And yes, I will miss the HW keyboard, I am not sure what I will do about that yet. I will miss all of you, and I am sure I can find a rom that I like there as well, if not I will make my own.

Hello, I am new to flashing, new to PPC also. I just flashed my TP2 a few days ago using Mighty ROM and I loved loved it.

If someone can please answer a few questions for me.

1. Will this new update remove all my settings and contacts? I just finally finished personalizing and have not found a backup program yet. Suggestion for backup programs also welcome. :)

2. Can I change the size for the quicklinks? It seems too big to me. Can I remove them, completely remove them (without leaving empty boxes) just clean empty space?

3. Can someone please tell me if I can do stealth tethering and how?

4. Lastly, I noticed that I do not get good signal, 2 bars sometimes outside and I miss calls while my phone is in my pocket. Is anyone else having issues with TP2 and signal? Is there anything I can do to make the signal better?

Thanks in advance. I have spent days reading but there's just too much information out there.

since i wasnt the first to report this and I have an Airave, im relatively sure something is wrong, just for S&G (shits and giggles) i went back to 5-01, AutoProv worked perfectly, Task29 back to 5-24, had to run Provision Device...

I would like to see if more people have this issue, and if the other person who had the issue has an airave, it could be the timing was changed as in 5-01 it was fine for the Airave and 5-24 its off, its too much of a variable right now unless others chime in or test it out for them-self's (but still 3 times for me testing and 5-01 works but not 5-24, but again thats why i say relatively sure instead of 100% sure :D )

1. Yes it will be like turning on your phone for the first time. I would recommend backing up with Microsoft my phone or just copy your pim.vol file to an sd card and overwrite the new one after a flash. backing up settings and system files could mess it up since it's an update in versions of HTC Sense

Edit: If you want you can try using XDA_UC to auto install all your cabs and settings but i never use it, would have to ask someone else for a tutorial how to get started

2. You can do this using Cookie's Home Tab located here

3. It is included in the rom under all settings > Connections > WiFi Internet Sharing

4. Try a different radio located here. Depending on your area different radios will work better but definitely try to most recent updated from your provider first. I get great signal with the Verizon 2.23 version

I actually am so tired I totally forgot about the 5/24 release...something could have changed.......I am not sure since I did not flash it.....get with Ziggy....it is his baby...he will know for sure....

Thank you for the quick response. Just a few more questions please.

1. The cookie will work with Mighty ROM?

2. I am with Sprint, I should look for a Sprint radio but do I have to unlock for the radio or mine is set to go since I already unlocked for the ROM?

3. Are you familiar with Task29? I downloaded the exe file but I have no idea how to use it. Can you or someone please tell me exactly what I need to do?

Cookie works

you need to do nothing with the radio unless you want to

no need to run Task29.....unless you have issues that are persisting from flash to flash....

1 Co0Kies works just fine with all of the MightyROM that have been released in the last month.

2, No need to mess with the radio, the ROM does not change this. His ROM does auto provision.

3.You need to add radio in that folder (radio image should be named as ruu_signed.nbh).If you with sprint,then add latest sprint radio
