The end button power or the screen power? and then once in bootloader i can flash from my pc as normal?

nevermind... maybe instead of panic i should have just tried it both ways first its the end button power.... and currently flashing as normal thanks for your quick reply!

sorry if this has been answered // this is also my review of using mightyrom for a few days on my Spring HTC TP2

so i flashed to the latest mightyrom and i am enjoying the experience.. a couple of issues i would like someone to address if possible:

1. for some reason, when i am on a call, the screen will flash from off to on - if i manually tap the power button, it will stay off for a moment, but then go right back on.. (come to think of it - it actually flashes when im getting a call too)

2. my icons next to the start menu (battery, signal, etc) are black and white - i installed the custom (burberry looking ones) and i would like the icons to be colorful - how do i go about doing that? (sorry if this is posted on page 159 or something, just a heck of a lot to look through)..

3. i noticed mightyrom does not come with an instant messaging program - i found and installed a working oz messaging cab and it seems that it does not save my user name and password -- is this normal?

4. although my service seems fine - my bars always look low/missing..any suggestions?

its great that things with this rom are so smooth that after a couple weeks most of us have things like we want them , but its also kinda wierd cuz there is usually so much action that if you miss more than 1 or 2 days you have like 30-40 pages to catch up on....


Yes you did, and IMO right on time. all the addicts have been quite but you definately opened pandora's box...
I definately cant wait!

1. Due to the screen being set to wake up and turn off when close to your head during a call...I believe there is a setting in the Phone Settings that can turn that off..

2. If you want colorful icons either you will have to search for a taskbar that has them or create one...look in the TP2 Themes and Software portion of the PPCGeek forums for some...although several cause issues because of different dll's...look for MordyT's edited taskbars there are a few around...

3. It comes with the stock text messaging, however it doesn't come with a MMS program...this is due to peoples preferences...some people don't like picture messaging...

4. Try another radio...but if its working fine I wouldn't change a thing alot of times mine is sporadic...
