Ok it worked, the txt messages are in the right order now (back and forth) but it time stamps the incoming message with a time an hour later than it actually is...not that it matters but fyi

Did you soft reset after installing...

Has this always been happening? If so, this is the cause of your messages being out of order.

Say you send a text at 10:15 and then receive a reply at 10:20 (actual time). Then you send another one at 10:30 and receive another reply at 10:35... if your phone is time-stamping the incoming an hour later, then outgoing are stamped in the 10 o'clock hour, while your phone thinks all incoming are from the 11 o'clock hour. As such, your phone is threading them wrong cuz the time stamps are off since it threads by the timestamp (i.e. all the 10 o'clock messages are grouped together, and then all the 11 o'clock messages get grouped together)

Make sense?

Are you using the latest rom? google sync (with activesync) isn't working for me. I get an error 0x80072f17 in activesync. I looked it up and it says it has to do with self signed certs... I know google wouldn't be using those, so I'm not sure what the problem could be... anyone know?

this is the fix for that problem
Enable/Disable Phone time instead of sent time for SMS messages
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\SMS]
"RecvTimeStamp"=dword:00000000
i got it from ziggy's collection a while back

yea. here is PHM RegEdit. http://blownfuze.org/files/regedit.Mrln_ARM.CAB

It's not that hard at all. Just becareful not to change anything else, unless you know what it does. Just navigate to that location and change the value to 0. If the RecvTimeStamp is not there, then click on Edit-New DWORD Value and type it in. Then close phm and wait one minute and do a soft reset

Help phone boots to mighty screen then resets and does so over and over tried hard reseting tried going back to stock and it does the same thing with the stock rom now as well any ideas?

thought that was another time stamp correction cab but just realized that is the cab that allows you to edit registry keys...duh....thanks

I have a question though, since i already downloaded that time stamp fix cab and my txt messages are now in order but just has a double time stamp, will doing (changing it to 0)this fix the double time stamp issue or is it just supposed to fix the messaging order if i did not download that fix previously?

the cab is a regestry editor program, not a sms timestamp fix.
uninstall or undo whatever you did that caused the double stamp, then follow the directions i gave in my post above

Anybody got Vlingo working on this ROM? I had it working on a stock US Cellular ROM, but can't get it to work now.
