After multiple flashes or hard resets, data packets sometimes don't get fully erased and false data remains in the blocks where they shouldn't be which corrupts random things in the ROM (in your case, wifi)

Task 29 essentially wipes all of the blocks to zeros, thereby fully scrubbing all data from all the blocks (it's actually more complicated than this - task 29 wipes all BINFS data where the XIP lives). Flashing to stock is different in that it wipes FATFS via task 28 (the storage memory part of the ROM).

As I said before, it could be any number of things causing your wifi to partially not work. But task 29 and reloading a fresh ROM almost always fixes issues like yours. If you wanna go nuts, run task 29, then flash to your carrier's stock rom, then activate your phone and call your voicemail to ensure it works, then load Mighty again

i notice on this rom when i go to start settings then sounds and notifications when i click the tab to change the ringtones and sounds for emails and things it starts loading and kinda just hangs there is this happening to anyone else?

Hey guys been busting my arse-enal today...had to reconfigure Photoshop on my pc since I upgraded so that took some time...but I just thought I would throw out some new screenshots of the update to my dialer...it should be ready by either tonight or tomorrow...thanks for all the downloads and thanks its much appreciated...:headbang:

Is anyone else's phone not displaying HTC Sense? Everything but Sense works.. I don't know what it is.

Updated ArcSoft CABs
 

Since people requested these, and I got the files for the updated Arcsoft included in the latest Sprint ROM (thanks Ziggy and blkhwkz), I got around to putting it into a cab today. The only things carried over from the last Arcsoft cabs are the server settings and filesize limits. If someone would want to have all stock settings, just let me know and I can put it together (won't take more than a few seconds), but since everyone seems to think that the file sizes are set to low, and not everyone is on Sprint, I used the old settings. One other change that I made was I set all notifications so that you have all available options (AvailableOptions=15) so that people can set it to have the blinking light if they wish. I also won't remove my previous cabs from my Google site until these are confirmed working (or a week from now, whichever is first).

EDIT: CABs updated 4/11/2010. Stock Sprint CAB added that has all stock settings from shipped Sprint ROM and nothing changed.

Is Sense disabled? Have you installed any manila mods or themes? To see if it's disabled, go to Start>Settings>Today and make sure that HTC Sense is checked on the Items tab. If you installed any manila mods or themes, try to uninstall them and see if it works.

Now come on TJ did my theme provide the ability to show that you were missing an extra dll to finish your dialer.. lol.. my blacks done hehe.. !
