Self-extracting, executable archives. Once you get to the downloads, they move fast. Pulled 4MB/s down here, but as I'm sure everyone else is noticing, it takes forever to get to the page to download. Not sure which I want to try/use first. I loved 6.5.x, but not sure if I want to go with that or something else.

Not to be a total n00b. But can someone please give me the link for the new ROM download? I looked on mightyrom.com under Touch Pro2 but it wasn't there and with the site being as slow as it is I don't really want to spend 15 minutes just trying to find the darn thing.

it's not the server itself but the actual DATABASE / mysql server portion of the host that supports the actual wordpress database that is crashing.

No idea why, it can support many downloads at one time, but the .db itself crashes...

Guys, i have missed alot of the chatter about the Special Edition Rom. Nothing is on Mightyrom.com but the download link and i have searched Mike's post.

Can someone fill me in on its structure, build, 6.5 or 6.5.x....just trying to do my homework before flashing. thanks guys

Mike do you use the Wordpress Download Manager to track your downloads? If so how were you able to display the number of downloads on the site in real time?

Special Edition is exactly what it is. A special edition rom to celebrate my 2 million views that is around the corner.

It features some modifications from (what i consider) the mightyrom team. Without these guys (Purian, Ziggy, etc) who help me implement some wicked tweaks / apps / and supply some fantastic themes, the ROM wouldn't be what it is today.

It's also a huge thanks to all my fans for everything they have done for the ROM. Fantastic feedback, amazing support, etc.

This ROM would not be what it is without each and every one of you guys/gals pitching in one way or another! You are all appreciated.

Enjoy it! It's my little treat for whatever worth it may be :)

For those asking, SE has a custom taskbar, custom icon set, custom splash screen, RAM bleed fixes, and purians theme pre-installed

It also includes the auto-provisioning app that provs your phone at first boot automatically

Several other goodies are included as well, but these are the main features

Several of these are included in FF and OF as well, but SE just has lots more eye candy :thumbleft:

can you at least tell if it's 6.5.x or 6.5? I assume 2.5, so no big deal.

if this is something you want people to flash first, that's cool...just seeing if you'd at least give windows version/build.
