Not MR specific but I am on the new ROM and am inclined to stay, barring a minor issue.

Is there a way to disable the weather graphic on the home screen clock?

My case: Notice if you are in the People or Settings tabs, how much smoother the slider moves?

I'm looking for a tweak that keeps the slider from moving choppy as hell on the home screen. It seems related to the weather graphics on the clock; things were smooth sailing before I enabled My Location (which allowed weather data to download). This is not wallpaper (animated vs. weather) related.

Am I the only one with this issue? I realize the value of this ROM and appreciate the dedication to a solid product, but the interface feels very similar to stock 6.5 (Sprint) in performance.

My phone froze. It was hanging on the boot screen all day. The only way to turn it off was to pull the battery and keep trying again and again. I was going to cry to everybody here to see if anybody had any ideas after spending all day not being able to get my phone to move past the main screen.

Literally, as I was typing the message I tried again and it booted up, although very slowly. It had reseted though back to the provisioning screen and it is going really slow through the Verizon provisioning so I don't think it is quite right.

Anybody have any ideas?

UPDATE: Nevermind for now... It's still moving extremely slowly, but I'm going to download a new copy of the ROM and reinstall to see if I can get it, if not, I'll provide more details on everything I did.

I am new to Mighty roms... I am coming from the Verizon stock 6.5 rom.....

I love it so far, except for messaging is extremely slow. The problem is closing it... especially if you are looking at an mms attachment. When you close messaging, it just seems to haaaannngg there. Its not just a few seconds, it can take minutes to close. The first couple of times, I thought that the os was locked, and I pulled the batteries out. I uninstalled [imnuts Verizon ArcSoft MMS 5.2.12.45 20100204] and had the same problem. Then found that attachments would not open, so reinstalled.

Is there a workaround / fix for this? Are others experiencing the same issue? I have read a few posts on messaging being slow, but none elaborate......

Did you re-sync all your old text messages back to your phone after the flash? If so, that's what is causing the problem
