That maybe true but to me a good rom isnt a good rom because it has a lot of free ram. A rom could have all the free memory in the world and could still suck because of bad memory manegment. This rom handles the memory use very well.

+1, I have used roms with less that run as well, if not better than others with more. Always best to just give it a test drive. Some start high and drop. Others start lower yet hold steady. Like with a high performance car, a matched system will be better than having too much carb, cam, ect and not match it with proper gearing, stall, fuel supply ect. I would prefer a balance of speed, stability, options, and what personally fits my personality. Plus its FREE so give it a go if you like it. Donate if you love it. Worth a shot.

Favorite rom to date, I think this has finally stole me away from SPB Mobile Shell which was my fav before. One question, this happened with another rom I tried and I don't remember which. But it seems that if I set my ring tone to an mp3 file. It's hit or miss if it rings at all. More often it doesn't. I still will get all the other sounds for email notifications and sms, but on an incoming call it's silent. If I change to a .wav ring, it works all the time. My prob with the wav vs the mp3 is that the wav file size is hug in comparison and it is not a smooth playing tone. It hiccups several times during the ring. Any thoughts? Thanks again.

I'm glad that u like the rom and that we could take you a way from SPB MS. I never realy liked MS that much. I was very customizable but I just didnt like the feel of the UI.

As for the .mp3 ringtone issue. I have also had this problem in the past. I dont know why or what the cause of this is forsure. I found that it tends to work better with .mp3's that are shorter. If i set a whole song as a ringtone it would fail more offten than if I edited the song down to only about 60 sec to 75 sec. I'll look into it a little bit more and let you know if I find any info on the issue.

Thanks, this particular MP3 is under 3 seconds long. And a very small file. I shrunk the wav file somemore and changed the ring settings in HD Tweaks from instant ring to just the default ring and it's better. It only cuts out once vs. a couple of times with instant ring. It always sounded perfect in mp3, when it works.

One more small issue, home screen and weathertab don't seem to be working right with GPS. GPS works in other apps like Weatherbug and Google maps. Just not in the home screen. I have to manually enter the town for it to work. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Update: Not sure why, but after task 29 and reflash twice, it works now. So all set!
