Thanks sharkie, i really appreciate it. It just makes it soooo convenient when flashing roms. Although I think I may be down flashing because I like your roms so much. Well i guess i'll flash updates hehe. Thanks again.

On the new build w/no co0kie. Toggle works fine. Selecting weather wallpaper, then hit the toggle once, clouds go away. I've always been in the habit (before Sharkie created the toggle) just just copy/paste any wallpaper into Windows/Animated Wallpaper. You will never have any weather animation that way also.

I got Opera 9.7 loading as a cab at boot up, and..... <drum roll>...........

IT'S TOTALLY REMOVABLE BITCHES!!! :headbang:

Apparently there's a new Opera 9.7, version 36053. Anyway, this cab works perfectly. So if you don't like Opera 9.7..... UNINSTALL THAT MOFO!!!

As I suspected, having Opera in the ROM also allows for the snapshots of the Internet Favs to take place.

I remember having an issue where the sun would disappear when the rotation of it would stop, kind of like what happens when you try to use that s2w cab that we've been working on. To fix that issue I had to go back to an older Sense Calendar package (why the Calendar Tab has anything to do with the weather on the Home Tab is beyond me, but it does). I'd forgotten about that this time around because I didn't have that disappearing sun issue, but it sounds like exactly what's happening with that cab. So, I've gone back to an older version of the Calendar Tab (there's no visual difference between the newer one and the older one) and I hope this may fix your issue <fingers crossed> Here's a screenie of the cab in action, but it's night time and so I'm not 100% sure that it will work when the sun is out. I'll have to test that part out tomorrow.

@ brack21,

I've added those Sashimi files that I mentioned into the ROM, so let me know if you're able to get Sashimi to work.

All the afore mentioned changes will be in v4.1 which will I'll be uploading soon and will post a link to in the morning/afternoon when I wake up.

Quick question before others might ask. I don't use the internet quick link; however, what happens if the user removes Opera 9. Will the snapshots in the faves disappear?

OK, here's the problem/solution. Spent all night w/settings, Google, and posting. Horndoctor brought up a good point regarding UCWeb not being Java based and Yahoo being. Went to their site and WinMo isn't; however, they do have a new 7.5 Java version (seems geared towards some Samsung, Sony/Erricson, and Nokia devices. Downloaded and tested. You have to open Java, then browser and keep accepting to get in. It can be achieved;however, it isn't worth the effort. Would be much easier to have 2 browsers. I highly suggest UCWeb for this site and Opera for email (mini for speed) or the new 9.7 that Sharkie is going to be implementing in his new ROM.

Ones that were already set if you've visited a favorite using Opera will not disappear, but without Opera, no new snapshots will be taken.

The upload got jacked up over night. I'm re-uploading now. It'll be about another hour or so till it's ready.

Oh, and modmyppc, s2w's cab works fine on v4.1 even on the sun :)

I tried everthing on that sun and moon. I looked at every weather file and no matter what i did it still wasnt working. Thats cool you figured it out cause i gave up on it. lol.

A word about the 'Big Shark Messaging Pages' cab,
Remember you'll need to run the stock pages cab in post #2 to bring back the CHT messaging pages. I'll probably leave this mod out since it requires it's own removal and the installation of another cab to revert to stock. Maybe I'll just use it for the Mail Tab since there's not problem removing that...

Is there a different video player to use on these phones beside wm?
