LOL, indeed I do know the kind. Although, in my case it's usually a semi-important conversation that my girl is trying to have with me in which I'm only partly paying attention because I'm trying to figure out something to do with my ROM. She loves to pick times to talk when I'm like ](*,) on an issue!

Well it has been a couple days since I have flashed to the beta ROM. Up until last night I had ZERO issues. (I never use the people tab so I wouldn't know if I had an issue or not) Last night before bed I did a soft reset on my phone for some reason, cannot even remember why this morning. Well I rolled over and checked the time and sense was STILL starting up. I wasn't worried as this has happened before, a soft reset fixed it before. nope, soft reset, battery pull, throwing phone across the room none fixed it this time. Well, it is now a couple hours later and still no sense, going to reflash I guess :sadface:


I am very happy with the ROM otherwise Sharkie.




EDIT - I knew there was one other issue that started this morning, my contacts will not open up, even when I close sense and use the plain old icky windows interface :sadface:

Thanks for letting me know. That's happen to me occasionally, but not since I was on the beta. I'm assuming that you task29? Like I said before, for the release I'll be using WM build 23563 which I believe to be the most stable build yet. Hopefully you won't have this issue again.

Oh, and I still haven't heard from anyone besides Straightup and Steveo whether or not UC Web was set as the default browser on the beta... Straightup said it wasn't and Steveo had already installed another browser before I asked.

So does anyone remember if UC Web was the default browser on the beta?

It was the first time I installed the Beta, I reinstalled this AM, without task29 and it is all jacked up LOL

Time to Task 29 and reinstall :party:

FN + Left Arrow/Globe is mapped to what seems to be Opera still, which does not exist.

The Internet tab - Clicking "Launch Browser" launches UC.

BTW Had not used UC browser prior to this release, but I am digging it!

Will post back once I get all my contacts and pictures down from Microsoft My Phone . . .

Thanks for letting me know. I'd never used that FN + left arrow button before. Thanks for letting me know about it being mapped to Opera! I'll look into that.

Don't you think that UC is faster than Opera and just overall a much smoother browser experience?

It has its advantages, I think I will learn to love it as I did opera.

BTW - Apparently my contacts that were on Microsoft weren't anymore, thank god for storing my data in multiple disconnected locations ;)
