On the next release I will take out the old version of Google Maps and provide a cab for the newest version 4.1. This is also a benifit because you can install it on you Storage Card to save space on internal. But there's on problem with the new version though, it has Voice Search, but that option won't work because I took out voice command. Voice Command takes up 4.03mb of space I don't think it's worth it for voice command.

congrats pimpol, while i prefer 2.5 over 2.1 i tried your rom and its just as advertised, fast and light well done. anyone who prefers 2.1 should give this badboy a shot!

It is fast for a WM6.5 , but never beats the WM6.1 in speed and performance.

GOOD JOB, that is really what the forum wants ,fully functional fast ROMs.
do you have a plan to use the same compression technique on a 6.1 ROM .
that will make it a Rocket .

I have voted yes , it is one of the fastest 6.5 ROMs.

Good input! I know 6.1 would be hella fast! Maybe that will be my next project, but I'm still trying to make this one faster..not enough hours in a day to work on two projects.

So far as of right now the vote is 2 to 1 in favor of keeping longpressendkey.....still open for votes

hey tech1, why are you worried about 4mbs or installing google maps to the storage card? the tp2 has gobs of memory to spare.

ps the majority vote in you poll says your rom is not the fastest. what are you basing this claim on? do you have benchmarks to back this up?

512mb is not gobs of memory, a 32gb Iphone, that's a lot(hate the Iphone). Yes miln benchmarked most of current roms underdevelopment and yes the numbers show it:evil3:. This rom is the fastest currently in development. The link to his benchmarks are on the first link. plus I've tried 95% of all the roms and IMHO I believe my rom is the fastest.:toothy7:

tried your ROM. yes it is very fast and seems stable. tried all the usual, internet, youtube, texting, etc.
why are you so worried about storage memory on the phone? i don't think it is mess with the speed as the program memory does. maybe a couple microseconds more for it to find something.....
I voted yes to your question, though I feel that my ROM with no sense, no titanium and mobile shell added is faster. your's is too light for me. i like to have functionality available even if i only use it every couple of weeks. even with all your storage memory, your program memory started off quite a bit lower than mine on reset.
