Re: 6/11/10 V9.3.1 (23563) CHT1.8 *7 Color Themes with Matching Dialer,XDA_UC

New rom coming today so stand-by folks. V9.4 with Dinik Dialer, taskbar and programs icon. Will post when I start the upload, so takes about 45 mins for upload and 15 mins to check crc errors (Mediafire!). This is one sweet rom, I need help finding what's wrong with it. It has looks, speed, what more could you ask for. Maybe free air,sex and GAS!

I think you may be out of luck there, I survived the 60's & 70's the decades in which all those was still free. (Except gas, you had to pay a whole 25 cents a gallon or less)

Is the calculator fixed? I have a cab for another one, but it isn't as nice. LoL

Re: 6/11/10 V9.3.1 (23563) CHT1.8 *7 Color Themes with Matching Dialer,XDA_UC

I keep getting this error on bootup:

TaskManagerQuickWindow.exe (OK)

The file 'TaskManagerQuickWindow'
cannot be opened. Either it is
not signed with a trusted
certificate, or one of its
components cannot be found.
If the problem persists, try
reinstalling or restoring this
file.

I hit OK and my phone keeps going on like normal, so it is only a problem during reboot. Any way to fix this? Or should I just wait for the new ROM. I didn't always get this warning, I installed Sprite backup and ran it to back up my mail and saved games. (That is all I really worry about when I flash a new ROM, my contacts and calendar is backed up using Gmail sync) And then this started. Not a big problem and might have been cause when I first tried to sync with my PC, but when I unplugged the cable I must have pulled it too soon. Because it says it wasn't finished. So I plugged it back in and ran the program again and let it finish.

I have to ask, "did you run Task29"?

Re: 6/11/10 V9.3.1 (23563) CHT1.8 *7 Color Themes with Matching Dialer,XDA_UC

I prefer to do my kind of flash dance.

Old flash dance:

1) Load stock ROM
2) Run Clear storage
3) Load Custom ROM
4) Run Clear storage

My way

1) Run Task29
2) Load Stock
3) Load Custom Rom
4) Run Clear storage

This usually makes my switch overs a little faster and smoother.

I had not seen this problem. Are you still getting it after sync with PC. Also are you using 23563 or 28236? I am working with 23563 at the time. Is anybody else have the problem. What else did you install post flash other than Sprite Backup?

23563.. I loaded a several other items, but the only thing I did today was the sprite. I think the sync with the PC really messes stuff up unless I run it through. (Have to cancel the backup to the PC because I have had several custom ROM's crap out, and have to reload it.) But my impatience got the best of me today. So I will wait till the new ROM is up and will install that. The only reason I even use sprite on the laptop sync it to set the automatic backups. It won't let me do that on the program installed on the phone, I have to set it up on the PC and let it sync the info to the phone. Problem I think is that it disappears on the PC and I figure it is done. Will just have to put my impatience in check till the screen pops up trying to backup my phone. Then I can hit cancel and all will be fine.

I run "your way" except I leave out #2. I just "dump and load".

When I do that, I always seem to have problems. I guess it may be a USCC thing?

backup, flash, clear storage, run xda uc, the customize the rest of the way. I dont find a need to always flash back to stock. Ive never really had problems with not doing this either. But hey, different strokes different folks,
