Considering that the internet quicklinks not capturing the image was the result of manila 2016 I would say give it a go to try 2017 or 2018 maybe the problem will disappear.

I see your post was at 9:30 am and it's now 10:03 I will assume you have already started the flash or are already done. In the rar file is an program called "PagePool_Changer.exe" just run it and change it to 8 or 12 then select change to. Then flash the nbh as you always do. I set the pp so low to see how Max would like the extra memory available. There is some minor lag at 1st but once you start using the phone and the cache kicks in the speed does seen to go back to normal. As far as 2018 goes, the only thing I seen worth making the change is some are reporting increase in speed vs 2016. Before making the move to MaxSense I never would have considered the Android, but now that I'm hooked on MaxSense vs Sense 2.5. If only Maxycy would post something/anything about the future of MaxSense I would consider staying with the TP2. Really nice UI just needs some minor problems fixed and it would be the king. But since no word is coming from Maxycy in any form I have to assume that it's futrure is dead. Too bad, he really had something going and refreshing to WM.

Love the sprint navigation tab..

I dont have this service on my account, yet i was able to login and use it. on the login page, my phone # was already filled in, I filled in the first and last name, and it works.

there was no mention of a trial or monthly cost, as I have seen in past attempts to use this service on my phones.

will sprint eventually charge for this??

I'm on the everything plan so I cann't tell if there will be a charge or not. But with Bing or Goggle Maps working so well I see Sprint Nav not worth the added space on the phone. If you have family data plan (1500 mins anytime, unlimited mobile to mobile, unlimited nites and weekends, unlimited data for $129.00 per month) When I add my wife to my account, that's the plan I will be using. I'm getting the Epic for myself and the TP2 goes to my wife with MaxSense 1.5.4 rom. Just finished walking her thru the steps on how the use the rom. And she likes it better than 6.5.5 with CHT 1.8/5on her Sprint Diamond set to Cricket carrier. Cricket worked very well for about a year before I switch to Sprint. Only reason I switch was the hospital I work in has repeater's in the entire hospital and I get 7 bars everywhere's. If Cricket did that I would still be with them, can't beat the price for unlimited talk, txt and VM.

Edit: BTW the $129 per month is for 2 phones.

Sad to say but I removed it along with several other programs. Was trying to give MaxSense the most possible memory available short of removing tabs. BTW: Manila 2018 I don't think will work with Max, tried adding just the 2018 message and no go. You could see your messages in the tab, but menus would not work. Had to use the slider icons to send or open messages. MaxSense 1.5 was made for manila 2016. Also tried HTC 1.8 Message Client, but still no MMS support for Sprint. Option is there but fails to send everytime.

My beta experience so far:
No freezes texting etc on latest beta. When i was on the phone and went to the menu it had dotted/broken lines in between each item. Is that a pp thing? or how the menu is designed?

UPDATE:
Just noticed that when clicking on messages to see the normal TF3d message display clicking on that does nothing now but clicking on bottom left does work. Sort of opposite of the last problem.


Points/counterpoints on WM7 vs androidOS:
as far as microsofts pricing they are very competitive and fair these days. In the past they have had marginally higher prices but the 360 is down to $149 for the arcade version. Most games on xbox live are 1200 pts which equivalates to about $14. The prices drop after prime time etc. Google sucks. Their business practice is lame. They spy on you and collect your information. They are pushing to control the internet with their china tested filter engine. I will not support that whatsoever. They are probably run by the CIA. Comon a couple drunk kids in school make a trillion dollar megacorp? Bill gates may have been power hungry in the beginning but his charitable contributions to society are amazing. He has even convinced most of the billionaires of the US to give up half of their fortunes to charity/human projects etc. Android is overblown and isn't all that great. Besides its being ported and will surely be an option to dual boot if possible.

If microsofts only allowing installation of items through marketplace its really no different than iphone or google and allows them to at least have some accountability for malicious apps. You will be able to crack/root it whatever like anything else and bypass all that anyway. The development community for wm devices is far larger than google or iphone and I think it will continue to stay that way. In fact most of the stuff will be cross platform between web/phone/console which is awesome.

Don't mean to hijack your thread with my thoughts on these matters but since you make such an awesome rom and going to epic and seem to be a level headed dude I wanted to give my 2c.

More info is coming out about the browsing experience on the phone etc. it all looks amazing. android is pretty dull overall. I never really have the urgent desire to dual boot into it.

Good to see the tp2 is staying in the family and you'll be continuing your great work for your wife's device and the community. You are one of the greats.

Hey, not a problem, expressing ideas and feelings is what my thread is all about. Input from users (not just me) is what has made this rom so great. It was designed and built with the end users in mind. You wouldn't like the rom that I would build just for myself. And if I had 50 billion worth of assets, giving 25 billion away would still leave me with more than I could spend in 2 life times. I gave up the chance to work for Microsoft 15 years ago and I am glad that I did. My problems with M$ run much deeper than I am willing to say. I just wish I could have faith that at least one of M$ products would be good from the start. I am also glad that I found this wonderful website to learn new ideas and not have to live with what M$ gives us (WM6.1 or 6.5 offical release). And thanks, your ideas and suggest are always welcome here.

I agree their products in the past have blown for sure. Which includes this platform. I will be happy to see the bugginess etc go by the wayside. That is why they ditched it for a complete rewrite i suppose. The new os looks super snappy and sweet. The multiple browsing windows etc are going to be great. I too have had issues with microsoft in the past. I used to be an amiga head with bitter hate to pc's. I used to work for them at their highest levels of MSN as well. I don't agree with alot of their business practice but these days it seems to be the lesser of all evils. Besides they are cranking out some seriously cool innovative stuff. I can't wait for kinect too.

Thanks for your work on this, Timberwolf. I've been having an issue since I started using your ROMs (v9.7 and v10.0):
I am unable to receive SMS messages while connected to activesync. Once I disconnect the phone from the computer, all of the messages come in at once. I have double-checked the "Allow wireless connection on device when connected to the desktop" setting in Activesync, and it is enabled. I'm not sure that this is a specific problem with your ROM since I haven't tried any others for an extended period of time other than the stock Sprint, but I did not have this problem with the stock Sprint ROM. I just wanted to know if you or anyone else had any feedback they could offer since I've done many searches, but can't find any discussion regarding this issue.
