man, I hate to sound like a noob, but where is the thanks button??? Timber I want to add to your rep: the 8/17 release rocks, with only minor hiccups so far. battery life is good, and it looks awesome. Hell my wife ( who hates my phone) loves it. I want to say thanks properly!

As for the Evo, I contemplated it pretty seriously. I even went in to get one a couple weeks ago. I was in on a Wednesday getting a new case for my wife's phone and found out they had several in stock. When I went back on Friday they were all gone. The next week Sprint finally issued a release date for the Epic. When they started taking pre orders on that Friday I bit. The only thing I was worried about with the Evo was the lack of KB support. I do a lot of emailing from my phone and sometimes the SIP's (even Swype) can be cumbersome. Before you make the jump to the Epic search Google for some video reviews. Spoke with Sprint rep today and they almost had me convinced to go with the Epic until I did some research. When you are watching the video for a clock (there is none except for small one on the top right). 2nd you can not customize your widget's on the seven screens available. Whatever widgets Samsung designed for that screen are the only you can use. No moving around on the screen or moving to another screen. Very restricted on what you can do for a custom look. I think you will be back to TP2 within a week. Spoke with the Best Buy sales person and for $50 I place an order and expect the phone in 1-3 weeks (EVO that is). The Sprint store will not take pre-order, they want you to be at the store when they open and if and I say if they get an order in that day you might get one. time for bed for me good night all.:wave:

WTF Don't go TW!

Im staying with TP2 as long as I possibly can.

Dont want the evo. No keyboard, less customization, (not sure about tethering BIG BIG PROBLEM WITH ME!!! Dont want to pay extra for it.) Plus that stupid 10$ extra for 4g even if you dont have coverage. I would litterally be spending around an extra 1000$ a year for the evo vs my TP2. Im on sero plan.

Sigh what a sad day! :-({|=

I guess I have your roms to keep my entertained. They put my TP2 at a place I didn't think was possible.

So thanks and farewell :wave: Now I have to put up with these other chefs and there buggy roms. :help:

btw. I think my SMS problem happens after I have about 50 sms or so.

So im trying to delete them often so hopefully that clears things up alittle along with running clean ram, ram sweeper and clear temp.

I think (but I'm not sure yet) that ms myphone allows you to archive old messages online in case you want to save them. My theory is that I can arhive the old ones and only sync about a weeks worth (not much for me). I haven't tried it out yet though. (archive: yes; sync one week's worth: ???)

Evo is a great device but I do miss the keyboard. Just having a new device is overall great specially without having to reset, crash, locking up, or slowing down. I think you will be happy with the Evo. It's not that much different than wm so the transition is easy. I might try the Epic though when it comes out to see if I would like the keyboard again.

well it has nothing to do with the amount of texts I dont think. It froze and wouldnt open up when i only had 5 texts in my inbox.

But I ran Clean ram Level 3 and it fixed itself and ran fine.

OK, as promised, my feable attemp at graphic design. Well I can't really call it design since I just modded the original CHT icons but IMHO it's better than the green ones for a blue theme. As you can see there might be an issue with seeing number of messages bubble but for now this is good for me. Just copy the files to your windows directory using total commander (I guess) after you unrar. If someone wants to cab it, it fine. If someone wants to make some kick a$$ icons then it's better!!! :D
