The Answer:

The most noticeable differences come between the two builds being 219xx and 235xx. 219xx does not have a windows start key at the bottom of your screen. One requirement for all windows 6.5 builds mandated by Microsoft was that 6.5 devices must have a windows hardware key. This is why builds like 21903 don't have the windows key on the screen you are expected to use the hardware key. All 235xx builds have a on screen windows key.

Also builds 219xx do not have the ability to click and hold start menu shortcuts. Meaning you can't move start menu icons by dragging and dropping like you can in 235xx. In 219xx you can only move icons to the top or to the bottom. In 235xx you can click and drag any icon over top of any other icon and drop it to move it.

239xx is a 6.5 build
235xx is a 6.5.x build

As the number increase this is generally an indication of a newer build so 23568 would be older then say 23569. Since builds tend to come out every few days a build such as 23547 may only be a week or two old.

The Answer:

All of my ROMs include program called "PagePool_Changer.exe" just run this application. When you do a box appears with a bunch of circles and numbers. First press "Select" and load the ROM you want to change. Next were is says "Custom" change that number to anything you like. That number changes the phones "Page Pool". You can also select any "Whole Number" as well. NOW Select "Change to" and thats it you can close the box. You have now just change the size of the phones Page Pool or PP.

With that said it doesn't mean you should crank your PP to 64 its probably not going to do a lot and can cause "Out of Memory" errors and it uses RAM. Sometimes changing it to anywhere between 6-24 can have benefits. I set all my ROMs at 16.

I can't give you the exact ROM use because I'm running my personal version. With that said the uploaded ROM is 130MB.

looks nice, little crazy startmenu organization and no m$myphone? love that app. but i can load it. no taskmanager of any kind is a bummer. clock is getting stuck at times also, guess i load it to see how it holds up. edit nothing loadrd yet and im getting lockups, yes i did clearstorage but ill try again.

op, you need to check some stuff, looks like mms is gonna need the server edits ect cant just use my mms cab that works on all roms and i cant even connect to internet or turn data on period, ive installed nothing.

check my edits, no theres no dialpad either, opera just sits and wont even load. may wanna beta this with some peep first. oops dialer just poped up so thats ok but theres a scroll bar on rightside? never saw that and opera is giving a error but i missed what it said since i was typing.

now data poped on but theres a voicecmd error or something poping up now.this things going crazy, now it just hardreset, maybe i got a bad flash but im done for now. goodluck op, i hope it was my flash.
is there no internetsharing app either? ok, is it in connections? just flashed another rom but didnt look there and maybe i missed it.

It's great to see you posting roms.
Now we have even more variety.
It could also be past rom residue.
I would definitely do a Task29 flash on all new roms:

OK so despite darren.wlsn1 stopping by to bash my ROM for lack of better things to do I guess, I am moving on. Maybe he is part of the NRG team or something.

Added Arkswitch since darren couldn't figure out how to use a Task Manager with out it and add new folder icons (since I borrowed NRGz and that aint right). ROM is cooking will verify dialer is ok and get it uploaded.

are you kidding me? i tried the rom and pointed out what wasnt working and what i liked. no tasmanager so you added it, no myphone so you added it, you even said dialer was screwed and mine was then it popped up and i said so. i even told you goodluck with the rom and gave you first thanx outa anybody. new folder icons also? think i said that too. sounds like everything i said was missing or not organized you fixed. nrg team, look through his thread, never posted in there unless i had a issue. gladd you just bashed me and listened to me first. still wish you goodluck though, wonder where i got all my thanked posts in your thread if im bashing you.............

not a problem, i wasnt trying to bash your work. sometimes you need to pick a few peeps to beta it before it gets posted, the top ppcg chefs all do, not saying your not one but betatesting is a good thing.

if its oz im thingy i think i got the cab if you want it for first page or just him, havent used that for longtime. its a tmo cab but it works.

Rom looks good Zone. Question, you have no mms and w/mms. I guess the question is why? Is sms/mms running through htc messaging client or the default windows messaging. Thanks again!

Well with No MMS is uses the HTC messaging so its seamless. You never see the WM messaging. I have also removed most of Titanium.

With the MMS you don't use the HTC Messaging and you get more WM messaging. It will still use the Sense messaging at times, but its a combo of the two. Its really the same as the new Sprint ROM that was released with sense 2.5.

I prefer the seamless as I don't use picture mail.

seems to be running good. I needed to add CHT editor since it wasnt in there. no biggie but figured I would post the cab. man there is a ton of space available on here! 250mb plus at boot but the rom has alot of programs so I wonder how? data arrows are on all the time but noticed this was already noted. liked the fact you used 10% stock battery, foolishly makes me think I have more battery life :) plus I seem to get better results with it personally. arkswitch works great. i probably wont go back to htc taskmanager again. will let you know if I run into anything.

I ran a ROM for almost 2 weeks recently. I started thinking I didn't need my phone anymore because I hadn't flashed a new ROM in so long.. lol

Updated 2 icons see what you think. Stick with the XBox icon or the game pad? Maybe the "e" need to be a little bigger or even firefox?

I could have sworn the editor was there it just didn't work from the menu button at the bottom of the screen. I did add a cab fix for it so I hope the cab works. Also I'm using a "Optimized" Sprint Sense that's supposed to have additional language files removed, and LZX compression.
