I cant wait to try this on the Cricket Network. Every TPro 2 rom on ppcgeeks has worked excellent with the Cricket network. The only rom that ive evr come across that wasnt compatible with Cricket is allvof NRGs TPro2 roms. NRGs original touch pro roms worked great on Cricket, but the Touch Pro 2 roms just arent compatible with Cricket for some reason. So theres a very good chance that Maxsense will also be compatible with Cricket, but theres also a chance that Maxsense could respond like NRGs roms and not be compatible. I hope not. Because im really looking forward to Maxsense and giving something new a try.

Did you download Big's MaxManila ROM to try it out ?? this would kinda let you know if his bigmaxsense will work.. his maxmanila ROM is Very cool..

Cooking New MaxManila ROM now... Will Post in an Hour or So...

One Note, i am using steady soft provisioning for your carrier network so i only had to make 1 ROM... not sure if i will use this for MaxSense ROM, but just a head's up!

Nice update. Odd thing though, provisioning tool didn't run until after first soft reset. Is this by design or should it have run on first boot?

Yes it should have run on first boot, and did when i flashed the first time. i made a correction one place and it must have caused the problem...

carrier provisioning is in the tools folder to manually initiate..

Also might get an ugly blue softkey bar... to fix just use the flamerise black theme...

Provisioning ran fine after first soft reset. I did notice the ugly blue softkey bar but I wasn't sure if that was by design or not. ;) You know, there's no accounting for taste.

Don't know if this is a known bug in 6.5.X or not (I'm rather new to 6.5.X). When I attach my device to my computer for an ActiveSync connection, the connection mode screen is completely illegible. I just see blocks where text would be. It's not a huge problem, I know what button I need to press.

When you go to add a mail account, the fields colors is set to white.

Cannot see what you typing in til after or you select all the text.

this is due to changing in fonts and i am trying to figure out the problem... that is the only place i have seen the font error....well i think the windows live agreement is that way too...

I saw the same issue with not being able to see the text when setting up email account. Not too big a deal since it shows up after you leave the field.

another small bug with the maxmanilla rom;
in phone settings (cdma/gsm/etc...) the "More" tab is blacked out like this.

I thought that was a myth unless you're using an oled screen?

Black is not truly black, meaning power usage is still there. Besides, given how the screen size usually doesn't seem to affect the battery life that much, I'd say the effort to darken everything may not be worth it. Of course, your time, your call :p

What does everyone think of the carrier provisioning?

I have it now set to run after 1st soft reset (the one after flash)
sequence now: Flash..Device loads rom and customizes windows..soft reset...carrier provisioning...soft reset.....ready to use

Basically the benefit for me is only having to produce and upload 1 ROM...
i plug all the mms functions and everything else needed into each carrier provisioning cab, and its all setup.... just takes another soft reset for user...

just flashed your latest..im usually a skeptic if its not a sprint specific rom but damn this is fast. havent tested mms yet though.

one suggestion...you should use larger icons in the menus. im going to change mine to my liking but these are a bit hard on the eyes.

edit: im on sprint. when i click on all txt messages there is 0 in the inbox but if i use manilla i can see them all? grr this is a kicker for me. anyway to fix this? never fails that im out and about too...

I flashed to VZW stock and cleared storage. Loaded ROM, cleared storage and when trying to sync, I got a sync error like JER07734 reported earlier in the thread.

Exchange ActiveSync encountered an error. If this condition persists, please contact your System administrator.

Edit: Reflashed, cleared storage, same error. I have read that this has not happened during all the testing, but it happend to JER07734 and now me...... On MaxManilla

I found by simply closing Outlook Mail on my PC, it synced without any problems... Thanks for the quick reply.

i did get it working... by flashing to a different rom. lol. my location would never update again, though and i am waiting for a replacement from verizon

My location updated immediately and I resolved the sync problem by closing outlook mail on my Windows 7 PC.

Hope you can get it working on your replacement.
