This is my first attempt at creating an EXT (and a cab for that matter) but it seemed to cook on my ROM OK in Calk's. Thought I'd share if anyone was looking. |

Using the Kitchen converter you posted, it created the folder with the contents in it, But how do you then get the reg file, apdat, and skip file, and all the other stuff thats in the other kitchen files, is the other stuff needed? Thanks |
Re: Custom VisualKitchen EXT Request Thread - Get Them HERE!
it should make the app.dat and app.reg, the _skip/_premium etc files are not needed. they are generated by the kitchen when building.
is the output structure like this, *name of package*->files->*all cabs contents* or this, *name of package*->*all cabs contents* if it is the latter then you dropped it on the wrong batch file or your cabs file name has spaces in it. make sure you drag and drop the cab onto the CAB2NEWKITCHEN bat file. another way to see if you just used the wrong batch file is if you have a .dsm and .rgu file. if you do then you used the wrong batch file. |
