can the mortscript cab be ext'd and cooked into the ROM or OEM'd for that matter? I tried, but it looked "different". also, where would it go in the kitchen?

anywhere special this has to go, or can it go with the rest in the shared folder?

office 2010 is sys related so its in the kitchen just not available to all sys unless inserted.

im guessing you slide it in the shared folder and run with it.

tried it in the shared folder and it didn't work. tried it in the oem folder under common and it crashed my kitchen.

i'm guessing you'll have to add it to each sys that you get unless someone else has got it working in a shared folder of some sort.

thought i'd add one of my own. it's called freda and it is a really nice ebook reader. I tried the htc ebook reader and it would take 20-30 sec, to be able to turn the page. this one is smooth as butter and very customizable (font type and size, white on black, black on white, etc). over at xda-developers they have a file for 300 epub format books you can download to read.

found the folder, looking at it now.
do you know which registry settings i can change to set my backlight settings? I want to take off the autosensor, leave backlight on all the time and turn device off at 10min-battery, 30min-plugged.
also setting to 100% when plugged and 50% when battery.

found all the settings and fixed them for the backlight, think I have it fixed for pandora as well. all these little tweaks cabs I have running at the end, I wonder how many of them are being overwritten by this? gonna include them in the end of this for good measure.

thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.

edit again: backlight reg edits didn't take for some reason. i just went in and adjusted the values in the mxip, but it doesn't seem to have taken. but the pandora fixes held.

try this mxip i have attached. it is just the one i use, modified for your requested settings. you can include it anywhere in your kitchen. if it still doesnt stick, you can move a mortscript into the startup folder that writes the values on first startup, which will run after runcc, that sets these values then deletes itself. but the mxip i have attached should do it i think.

i had someone look at my buildlog.txt and apparently some of my setup.dll's are overwriting each other. gonna go through and try to rename them and see if that fixes the problem. might be a couple of days, but i'll report back.
