One thing that bothered me is it didn't even look like anyone put any effort into the start menu, it looked like a bomb went off. FAILURE!

maybe i am alone but i like how the start menu looks, it is pretty convenient and the icon are big and easy to hit with your finger. anybodu else like the start menu?

Sprint is not competing with the chefs at all, nor should they. Their job is to put out the most stable and consistent platform that they can. Not the prettiest nor the most loaded. Adding 2.5 was probably more than they should of done. Obviously even they gave up trying to fix its issues.

Hopefully this will prove to be a super stable 6.5 rom that we can use as a base going forward to build it even better. Because despite how pretty the rom was, or how loaded it was or even how close to stable it was, ALL the custom ROMS eventually ran me back to 6.1. Despite how I love my toy it is a work device first and foremost and therefore MUST be completely stable.

Sprint did exactly what they needed to do and even added a little extra. They should be commended for that.

KUDO’s Sprint!

IMHO
MBK

I think Sprint stole JD's kitchen from his recent release and made this ROM from it lol, but great job they did on it!

In Calkulin's fix, there is actually files being installed.
(IntShr.exe) It might just over-right the old internet sharing app

In the ICS_and_WModem_Fix.cab fix, there are Certificates installed, files added, and there are registry tweaks done. These tweaks effect the subnet mask and things of that nature. It also installs IntShrUI.exe, Internet Sharing.Ink, and intshare.dll.

And it looks like "Mr. X and MightyMike Tethering Tracking Hotfix.cab" does the same thing as Calkulin's fix.

So, it doesn't look like a simple registry tweak will do it for this. =/

I think he was talking about the lack of folders...Easy fix to that though. Use total commander and create forlders in the windows, start menu, programs, section for whatever you want and organize them accordingly. I have done that with a lot of custom roms.

The radio is my only liking. I used the rom to reflash WAR and did the flash dance.

Thanks for the mirrors! 18kb/sec was gonna be like plucking each individual hair from body, starting with the places that the sun doesn't reach!

Those same big icons you can get on WAR so not sure what custom roms your using. WAR blows the Sprint 6.5 out of the water.

I am sure if I look back on the hour that I used it, I may have liked one thing or two, I don't remember though. Let me get some more Captain' in me and maybe I will remember. lol

Does anyone have a fix for the always-flipping clock? I have two cabs that fixed this for the older mightyroms, but they don't work on this one. That, and the always-blinking LED are driving me nuts.

Thanks,
Dave
