Re: Official Sprint 6.5 ROM Touch Pro 2 RELEASE (Official Discussion Thread)

anyone else having serious battery issues?!? I've tried reloading the stock rom, and it continutes all i've added is the HTC_TaskManager, and Spike's TaskBar it either stays at 100% the entire time or it will function properly or atleast it appears to be after 70% is just drops to 30% within the hr then just turns off shorty after I've shut off all automatic updates (twitter, weather)...also i've notice that all of a sudden i'm getting errors about the charging capacity, but i've never had a problem, or even seen that errors until the new Sprint update was released any suggestions?

many custom taskbars do not work so well with this updated release. I posted one that seemed to work well for me and I did not have any battery issues whatsoever, here is the post: http://www.forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpo...&postcount=124

^^ thanks i opted not to use that one cuz of the appearance, but hey if it works and it's not bland as the stock Taskbar...it'll start to look prettier by the day...thanks

**now i remember why i stopped using it.....the signal strength doesn't showon the Taskbar..any fix?

no, thats just a registry setting that you can change for it to give you the message sent notification. you don't need it cause it will let you know if it doesn't go through.

Yeah I am having major program memory storage issues. 79+% range.
I installed the Misfortune's taskbar along with Gt2L's tweaks package.

Not sure what is causing this leakage.

I used to get that message before at work when plugging my phone into a computer. If the battery was so far already dead then it would say that it was weird.

But another question I have is if I have the twitter app open to a page does it refresh on it's own or is there a setting? I was trying to use it yesterday and couldn't figure it out. Thanks, Rose

I flashed the new Sprint rom and i was extremely unhappy with it. To me it seemed to have a lot of gliches and as far as im concerned Vin's roms work a whole lot better than this one. So of course i had to flash back to Neodium V8. I think i will wait a while on this one cause i know someone will fix it up..

I got a question I didn't download the update just yet but I was wondering since the update shows the icon on the bottom of the home screen can you take that off if you wanted to...? cause I just usually just the clock in its small format so I can still see my wall paper....

the purpose of the home screen is to show you as much info as possible and give you quick access to everything you like. To answer your question...yes, you can remove the quicklinks. If you just want to see your wallpaper and time when you use your phone, then you should have it automatically lock. That way it's on the lock screen when you pick it up and all you'll see is a picture of your choice and the time and date. Just a suggestion.
