I will be discontinuing my public rom immediately. I greatly appreciate my followers and all those who tested my roms. I will still be cooking but not releasing because I done have the time to cook as much and service as much as I would like. You can find me over at the Kitchen thread still!

FAQ

Q:Hey Smiznith, why "iceyrom"?
A:In college, my nickname was ICE because of my love for my fraternity and love for winter...

Q:So can we call you ICE?
A:Sure makes life simple. Call me whatever, just dont call me after 11pm...

Q:After i flash, the 6.5.x buttons dont look like the pictures. Did i do something wrong?
A:No, after you provision, it will reset, then you will see it

Q:Provisioning didnt show up, any idea why?
A:It's a problem in the programming and 6.5.x. It wont show up but it is under the task manager. Hit the clock in the top right and it will show up. Provision from there.

Q:I see you include XDA_UC. When does it customize?
A:It will show up after you provision. I have it so it runs on second boot.

Q:Sprint TV and Nav doesnt work, shows a "file cannot be opened" error message...
A:If you use Sprint TV or Nav place these cabs here and here in your xda_uc folder. since I have users outside of sprint I wont include them in the rom

So I am on a ROM flashing binge today and putting together a nice review of all of the ROMs from PPCGeeks on the TP2 and I happen to see this little gem popped up today. Going to download and will let you know when the review is posted. Don't worry...I understand this is a beta so I won't be too harsh.

lol be as harsh as you need to be.. i have a lot of work to do to it but for the most part everything works great, even MMS on sprint (this is a all carriers rom based off calkulin's kitchen and JMZ carrier provisioning.)

Whew, thanks. I was worried there. Any chance you can upload a 2.6 ROM. I am only reviewing 2.5's as 2.1 is a thing of the past IMO. Any flavor of WinMO is fine.

whats the major difference with 2.6? i havent heard much rumbling about it really, but i do want to get ahold of that verizon version of sense 2.5...... i know they are demoing it right now for their 6.5 update to the tp2...

1. Calendar tab is blank. When sliding across the bottom and you stop on the calendar tab, it shows the soft keys of the last tab...
2. No BattleShip... lol..

I use mediafire, just not between saturday night through monday mornings. I usually have issues on sundays with them...

what i am hearing is that 236xx isnt better than 235xx. in my experience i prefer 235xx, no problems at all, but i havent really ran 236xx much so i cant give a full assessment... i want to get back to the 250xx branch but the last one (25007) wasnt very good and didnt have office 2010 or threaded email (which i have fell in love with)

re-uping the 2.5.21895 as v1.1 for you all to play with. it has working pandora, havent gotten my wallpaper to take yet, but i think i have a big problem with my kitchen not sorting right.... that will be my task this week to fix that then do an official release!

i hava a cool battleship plus game called "navel instalation" not freeware but if you like battleship youll love it. cool added islands and you can use planes and subs to bomb chit.

Very "cool" ROM... =) Only thing that stood out should be a simple fix... When arranging and selecting/deselecting tabs for home screen, only 2 options can be changed - Call History and a blank description instead of seeing the normal People, Contacts, Weather, etc... I am sure they are just hidden via registry, but just thought I'd letcha know... Keep up the awesome work!

Running the 236xx version of this rom and I am very pleased with it so far. No major issues, I really like the semi-dusk theme. I installed a custom clock to it and it looks great. No fluff here and plenty of memory after flash. I did notice that the "input" option is missing in settings, or maybe it is somewhere that I haven't discovered yet. No big deal. The only other real hiccup I found is after I complete a call, the locked in-call screen won't let me hang up and i have to wait for the other person to hang up. This is bothersome to me because when I want to hang up on my ex-wife in frustration, I have to use the hard button and wait for the lock screen to decide to bring me back to manila. I am loving this ROM and will stick with it. I look forward to some updates. Thanks smiz, much appreciated!

arggg JMZ provisioning doesn't support US Cellular right? the last rom i flashed that had JMZ only had telus, verizon, and sprint. i realllllly want to try this rom out, so does anyone have any word on the carriers??
