Thanks for the info. the larger buttoned black vzw dialer works much better for me, because i have big fingers and carpal tunnel so the larger buttons do help. Thanks again.
By the way now that the v18 fix patch cab is out is V18 as good or better than V17.1 or does it still have more bugs than V17.1. and what does everybody think of the 23127 OS compared to the 24622 OS on V17.1. Do u think they are just as responsive,fast, stable and hows the battery life and memory of V18s 23127 OS compared to V17 and the 24622 OS? The 24622 OS is the newer OS isnt it. Or is it so close that it really doesnt matter? Im just rather happy with V17.1 now and am leary of flashing back to V18, especially if V18 is an older OS. The only negative things ive noticed about V17.1 CHT is the battery life doesnt last as long and it has slightly less memory.Thanks for any info.

I think 23127 SYS is far better than 24622.

Try this reg edit, and see if it makes landscape for music and album tab better.

Change this:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableFullScreen"=dword:00000001

To:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableFullScreen"=dword:00000000

Use total commander or regedit under utilities to do so.

Just flashed your rom last night for the first time and it is a great looking rom. I downlaoded the no cht version cause i'm getting tired of cookie. I love the speed and programs you put in it. I tried the reg edit for album and music and it didn't work.

Did you Soft reset or restart Sense after applying the reg tweak?

Yea, I did. All I got was a black screen with only the softkeys visible

I flashed from V17.1 CHT Back to V18CHT after the patch cab was released that fixed the ability to rearrange the home manilla tabs, and the other cpl bugs it fixed. At first i wasnt too impressed with V18 but after a hard reset and a cpl soft resets it started to function alot better. Thats a little unusal for me because every time ive ever flashed a Bhars rom it always works very well right from the start. I think it may be because i used a different Task 29 than what comes in the Bhars rom zip file. If i use the task 29 that comes prepacked in roms file i dont even have to perform a hard-reset after flashing, but i do it anyway even though after a task 29 i dont feel its absolutely necessary. I always did a hard-reset after a flash before Task 29 became widely available. Now i perform a task 29 before i flash any rom.
When i flashed back to V18 and installed the V18 patch cab and i am using a 2GB sdcard,instead of my usual 16GB sdcard,and as long as the song on my manilla music tab has cover art the coverflow rotation does work on my manilla music tab, but when it rotates it doesnt always rotate to the correct song and my manilla picture tab also rotates correctly. On V18 the Windows Media Player works great with my 16GB sdcard but, the manilla music tab and the CHT music player stll wont play songs from my 16GB sdcard. The songs still freeze after about 30-45 seconds. But with my 2GB sdcard every music player works great, even the manilla music player tab and the CHT manilla music player thats available from the home screen.
So after installing the V18 patch cab i know like V18 better. Mostly because the battery life on the 24622 OS was low compared to previous releases. Is 23127 an older OS than the 24622 OS. The only reason i ask is because there are so many different OS #s i cant keep track of what the newest release or newest leaked OS is available. The new icons on V18 look great and are much appreciated. They are very unique and match the roms overall look very well. The new foldr icons look good too, but im still leaning toward the original folder icons, but those sabre and alluminum icon cabs i have also look very good. AI ur making it hard for me to choose, all the folder icons look so good that im changing them about every other day.
I likedthe speed, stability, and overall responsiveness of the 24622 OS on V17.1CHT, but the battery life wasnt very good with V17.1 for me. My phone would go from full charge to about %50 in only 3-6 hours depending on how much i used it. The 23127 OS on V18 after a full days use and after charging all night and then being unplugged about 9am by 9pm i still had about %45 battery life left and thats with mild use. I will say that the battery life on V18 is much better than V17.and im glad to notice that CHT editor has been updated to 1.85,even tho i really cant tell the difference yet. I cant wait to see CHT 1.9 or a Bhars V? CHT1.9 release.
Would anyone else like to see a Maxsense rom cooked up by AI. So far im not a big fan of Maxsense but i think if AI was to maybe cook up a nice, clean Maxsense rom with AI's usual great looking folder icons and great looking and matching icons i would give it a shot. I havent even really learned how to operate a Maxsense rom but if AI was to cook one i would definetly give Maxsense another shot. But AI please dont stop cooking new updated, upgraded, and simply better and improved roms including CHT and the original blk V series roms either. They are just too nice to stop releases, unless u just cant make them any better in anyway. but i think, no i know u can because every new rom releae has always been just a little better than the previous rom releases. If u want a beta-tester for a Maxsense rom or any new rom youre working on or testing now Id be more than happy to be a beta-tester for you for any rom your cooking up or thinking of cooking up. Id like to try a Maxsense rom but they dont seem any better looking or more customizable than most WM6.5.X roms with CHT 1.85. But i think if anyone can make a clean, great looking, Maxsesnse rom its u,AI. Im not asking or even requesting one. Im just telling u if u were to make a Maxsense rom i would definetly give it a good run, and if i really liked it i might even consider it for my everyday usual rom. Anyway thanks again AI, V18 is now another excellent release now that the patch can has been released.Appreciate all the info and user support. Keep up the excellent work.
