i flashed to this rom couple of days ago. i am using the latest cookie. I have 1 issue and 1 question.

1. how do make oct_gui run on startup? meaning if i restart the phone, the overclock setting goes away. is there a way to make it into startup?

2. sometimes i notice that the phone ends up in the landscape mode and when i unlock the device and go to the home screen, the bottom half of the screen is black. meaning the quicklinks section of the home screen is gone.. i still have the task bar where the windows icon is etc.. but i dont have the quick links or the tabs. when i click on the windows icon, it takes me to the settings page where i see the whole page.. only way to get it back to where it was is by doing the "re-sense".. I disabled the landscape mode this afternoon, so far i hvaent seen this issue.. but will keep you updated.. is anybody having the same problem?

Ok found a good version of Swype that works with this rom pretty well, just a word of caution install it FIRST thing when you flash, I found that installing after I restored my PIM messed up the contacts tab but if you install it first then it works great!

So I've done alot of searching and cannot find a dialer that I can replace the current one with so I can ##3282# and fix my internet(or lac there of) problem. Either the cabs that say they work don't or the download links don't work anymore. Anyone got a dialer cab they can either post here or send me in a message so I can fix this. Thanks ahead of time....btw, I'm liking this rom alot!!!!!!

nevermind, got it..... I kept the phone connected to the laptop and did an update profile(which I could not find on this rom so I flashed a different on) and it fixed the problem. I tried it with the phone unplugged and that didn't work. Time to flash back to this rom....yay

Can someone help me out, I have a VZW TP2 with Bhars V13 BLK ROM loaded and I have installed Arc Soft mms 5.2.12.62 and I am still having trouble with picture messaging. I have provisioned my phone for VZW. Please help.

Can anyone help me turn off the OBOE lockscreen? I installed S2U2 and it says that it will turn off the WM 6.5 Lockscreen after reboot. Well it did not and I cannot find out how to. I have checked Reg settings and all say that its off. I have reinstalled S2U2 and still I get double locking. Its killing me Larry.

Anyway to get weather on OBOE? Its a nice lockscreen but I miss seeing/dismissing emails and SMS.

Any help would be great. I have searched all over the place.

Using Crusader with CHT 2.0 on TP2

Thanks for the response and I followed your direction and it still double locks. The OBOE locks automatically. Do you think it would be different if I changed to WM lockscreen through Adv. Config? I realize that this happens when I start using the system's lockscreen and then go to S2U2. If I never use the system's, I do not have this problem.

Using Crusader with CHT 2.0 on TP2

What version of Crusader had CHT 2.0? I thought I had the latest build, and it only has 1.8.5.1. Am I missing a build somewhere? Maybe somewhere besides on Page 1?

OBOE Lockscreen is the one cooked in where you slide the bar downwards to unlock.

I reflashed, unchecked the lock enable box before OBOE started and installed S2U2 v2.34 and all is well. Once the OBOE lockscreen starts, there is no getting it to turn off. Not sure why that is.

I added CHT2.0 on top of Crusader V7 and its working very nice.

Glade you where able to get it figured out.

Crusader 7 dosent have CHT in it. Its just build 2018 (i love this rom) and it works very well with CHT2.0.

This continues to be the most stable ROM I've used to date. With only a couple of small gotchas I'm hungry for an update, which I hope is even more solid. The current ROM is fast, and the battery life is awesome. I hope things are good for our Chief's Dad and that we will soon have more goodies. Since flashing to the 9/10/10 release I've not even been temped to tray anyone's elses work. You rock Ai!

Same here, but there have been several updated builds from MS since this one. Are you looking into updating your ROM anytime soon? I'm thinking of re-flashing your Sept 10 V7 just to kind of clean things up, but may not do so if you have plans for an update of any kind.

I have been gone for 5 weeks, and have missed a lot.

I guess CHT 2.0 is out now, and new manila 2019 is out as well. Have those pkgs, and have the new 23140 SYS as well.

Although I enjoy cooking...but there is no motivation to cook for now.

My dad is still in the hospital, and he has a long path to recovery at this point. So lot of family stuff to deal with.

Well maybe I can try to work on a release...:)

Sorry to hear about your dad dude. But at least he is still there to help, and with luck he will be for awhile. Although a tragedy, this will be a blessing for not just him,but all around him. I speak from my own experience, having had a stroke, and then 2 months later a heart attack. That was 6 years ago. It help change my thinking about a lot of things, and today I'm in great shape. So if your not feeling motivated, we all understand. Besides, perfection can't be rushed :).

Just wanted to post that although I love the Sept 10 release, I had to go back to stock. After a hard reset to clean things up, on my first incoming phone call the phone froze. With my history of medical problems I really can't afford to have the phone function glitch at all. Data uis another story, but I was daily losing my connection as long as I'm on the subject of gotchas. This was after doing a task29 before reflashing the phone. This might well be a MS problem,( they are test builds) and nothing to do with our Chef's fine work, which I still love the looks of. Hope you rock on a bit more Ai. But for the time being, off to stock land for me.

Is the long hold end key quick menu part of the OS, or an enchantment to the OS? I really like that and would like to add it to the rom I'm running currently. I search a bit but didn't turn up anything.

And Ai, have you given up, or just taking a long break on an update? Overall I love the look and feel of it, but really need a phone that doesn't freeze on me with incoming calls, and drops data connections, so I'm hoping your still active, just quite at the moment.
