So teathering issue is only with verizon then? If so, I can add that fix to the prov cab, no biggie.

Dont install that dialer, I think there is a ringtone bug in it. I need to take that down.

I am looking into other CDMA dialers, I dont like these GSM dialers anymore!:) I just cant find one that works right, when cooked in!:disgust:

If possable can you find a cdma dialer with the facebook intragration??

No I dont think so...CDMA world is really far behind compared to GSM world! lol

I can have a cab for the GSM dialer though! Or maybe leave the dialer alone, and have user install it!!!

i really enjoy this rom i keep coming back to it after trying out other ones. actually gettin ready to reflash it after goin to the official sprint 6.5 update. my only qualm is that for some reason it wont allow me to set call forwarding is that just a function that the tp2 doesnt have or an issue with the rom or just my phone. the reason i need the call forwarding is so i can use a phone fusion visual voicemail app. just wondering if you can help me out with that.

Which version are you using? I think its the problem with GSM Leo Dialer. I am testing a CDMA dialer now, and will include this in my next release. Hope to have a new one soon...:)

im using your version 3. the only other problem i have noticed is with the dialer as well sometimes the keypad doesnt show up but if i slide out the keyboard and push it back to portrait the keypad reappears

Im on the Cricket Mobile network here in Omaha, NE and ive always used one version or another of NRGs roms for around a year or so on my original Sprint branded Touch Pro until I finally made the switch last November to a Sprint branded Touch Pro 2 that i again flashed for use on the Cricket Mobile Network again and when i went to flash one of NRGs roms to my TP2 i noticed that the data connection would always erase and go back to its defaults and wouldnt hold the data connection settings necessary for use with Cricket Mobile anymore for some reason. Ive been flashing roms 3-4 times a week and never found another rom i liked quite as much until i found your rom.See im able to use every CDMA rom on ppcgeeks.com for my TP2 with no problems at all with anything except mms issues alot of he time.But i never had working mms on my original TPro anyways so i kinda expected that.But i definetly like ur rom.Its by far one of the cleanest,neatest,and still loaded well with not a bunch of extra junk,just the right amount of the right apps that work correctly and function well with this rom in particular.But i have noticed that the Xperia taskmanager when i press on the time in the upper right corner it wont launch the taskmanager unless i have an app or something open.If no app or programs are open then when i want to check the taskmanager by tapping the upper right corner the taskmanager just blinks and the animations start over.But thats not a big deal to me. but Im not quite used to using this file explorer anymore and a cpl other things id like to brush up on, like what is the easiest way to set up custom ringtones?And how do u change the ringtone or sounds for new incoming text msgs?Also when i try to use the options link w2hen ive got the dialer displayed i cant check or setup or change or even see any CDMA settings like every other rom.So u can change the settings like; GPS location setting to 911 only or ON,so u can delete the Voicemail icon without having to listen to ur voicemail,the TTY Mode settings,NAM 1,2, or auto NAM settings,and several others i cant think of.But i know that the rom is still in its beta stages so i know i cant expect perfection but ive still been running ur 2nd CDMA TP2 rom and now im running ur 3rd CDMA TP2 rom and ive done alot of visual customizations to the home screen and any apps or programs that ive added ive installed into the start menu folders u already have and ive matched all of the apps/programs ive installed with matching icons to keep everything looking clean.Let me tell u i did do some extra work but i know absolutely just love this rom know.I can still use Maxmanila 3.0 and it works great.I do wish i had a little more free memory.I updated to CleanRam 2.0 and theres a noticeable difference between CleanRam 1.9.9 and CleanRam 2.0.Especially the ability to choose the between TF2D,TF3D,Sense,And SPB Mobile Shell.And it also tends to do alo better job of cleaning up ram than the older versions.Id like to try this rom cfc compresed but im worried then that the Maxmanila i like so much will no longer be compatible.But i could live witout Maxmanila if it just had a WM 6.5.5, Sense 2.5 rom that is cfc compressed.Ive noticed that alot of the cfc compressed roms tend to have less lag and use less memory than the non cfc compressed roms.Not that this rom needs to be cfc compressed because ive noticed that even after all of my customizations; Maxmanila 3.0, HTC GPS Tool,Custom transparent T-Mobile clock,transparent top and bottom curtains,custom transparent slider,Ninja duck repacked Opera 10 B3,Ruppy Super Arcade, and a few more i cant think of this rom is still very quick and snappy whether im using the bottom slider,which is alot quicker than the older roms, or opening an app or getting on my wifi network or even just my EVDO network this rom is i think about ready to come out of beta with just a little more tweaking.Thanks for giving me a rom ive been looking for for along time.and i cant wait to see the next rom.This is finally a rom i like as much as NRGs and it actually works for me on Cricket.Keep up the excellent work and thanks again.

Version 4 Out!!
 
Alright people, version 4 is out. I have release two versions this time, one Full with all good stuff, and a lite one, who likes more storage space, and less use of RAM.

Also removed leo dialer, and replaced with Spring CDMA dialer. For those who had issues with this dialer, this CDMA dialer should fix things. Also, if you want to get Leo dialer, then go to post #4 and install it manually.

I am planning to add more spring cabs in post #4 as well. Will upload more tomorrow.

I really appreciated your feedback. Glad it all worked well in cricket network. Dialer issues you are mentioning is a problem with GSM dialer. I have updated the latest release with CDMA dialer, and it should fix your issues.

I dont like CFC compression, I think it slows things down to compress anything. So I dont plan on doing that anytime soon.

Flash version 4, it has CDMA dialer, and it should solve the issue.

How lucky am i.i get to be the first to download both the newroms,the lite and full rom.Still trying to decide which rom to flash first.I do like the ereader tab and a cpl other thongs the full version has to offer,but its nothing i couldnt live without if the lite version is faster at loading files or opening web pages or more smoother/faster scrolling.I might just have to try both and see.And to think i was getting on here because i answered my previous questions myself and now noticed that my phone quit working.it would ring but i couldnt hear anybody and they couldnt hear me.Hopefully these new roms have fixed this problem.It did fix itself after a hard-reset but it happened twice in about 4 days ,but a soft reset fixed the problem the 1st time.Im looking forward to trying these roms.Ill probably giv the full rom a test first and see how it goes.If its not quite up to my daily use ill give the lite version a try.But so far all the Beta roms seemed pretty stable so i cant wait to test these roms especially with the new CDMA dialers.I think that might help with some issues.If the roms keep improving then both these should be great.

gettin ready to flash the full version 4 as soon as battery gets up to 50% ill let you know how it goes and if i find any bugs and what not. yours is still rankin number one with me and ive tried about everybodys rom.

I couldnt stick with which version either. Although, eReader is available as a stand alone version, I do like it in the Manila!

Dialer should not have any problems. Always test ROM after fresh install. Sometimes the programs you have installed, might interact, and cause stuff not to work.

I am running full version now, just disable home screen weather animation, and it is pretty snappy for a full ROM!

I did catch a bug with version 4 full version. Footprints does not show up, install fix from post #4.

Also, if you dont like the 3G, then install fix from post #4, and soft reset.

Did you check to see if the KB layout, and IS got corrected after installing prov cab? I included those fixes for VZW this time in the cab.

Something that might have installed might have caused it. I use BT only, not sure where you got that from.

Check BT on fresh install and see if it works. If it does, then install your cabs one by one, and see what causes it.

The only 2 bugs or problems ive found for the full version rom on the Cricket network was that the roms stock hardware keyboard eas slightly off,i think its verizons keyboard,but after i installed a Sprint hardware keyboard cab the keyboard was perfect.So thats no big deal.The only other problem ive noticed is that if i alter certain settings in Advance Configurations from the roms default settings then alot of the time it makes it so i cant hear anyone when they call me or when i make an outgoing call and i dont know if they can hear me or not.I thought it might be a cab i installed so i did a hard reset and installed all my cabs one at a time and everything still worked great.But as soon as i modified some settings in Advance Configurations it made my phone not function correctly during a phone call,cant hear.I dont know if it might be because the Advance Configurator icon is in the rom in 2 different places.I dont know how that would affect things though. its in the Utilities folder in the start menu and also on the Settings-Systems page as well.oh and i alsonoticed that the dialer is set to autorotate from default and sometimes the dialer would blur when rotating,but i just disabled the dialer rotation and problem fixed.I still hav to go thru the Advance Configurator settings to determine which setting or settings are making my phone not work during calls.So for now im just gonna leave the default settings alone so my phone stays reliable,hopefully.But i love the rom so far.Im thinking of trying out the lite roms and see if it performs any different.Thanks again for the xcellent rom.Please keep updating the rom every now and again for us folks that have know turned to this for their main rom.Thanks

That advanced config is predominantly based on GSM ROM. So some of the settings might not be compatible with CDMA ROM. I am going through them little by little and fixing them.

Did you change the audio parameter settings? Maybe that can cause the caller not hearing issue.

For now, just dont any settings in adv config if you dont know what that does.

IM having the same problem....

Using the latest full version and I noticed there is some kind of glitch when using the slide to answer function in sense ui. Any way it does not always answer and the slider stays to the left.

yes, when i get an incoming call i slide to answer nothing happens, then i push the green phone button to answer nothing happens?

Disable Manila and phone autorotation.

Open G-Config under tools, and delete STart - Manila, and Phone - Dialog. See if it fixes the issue.

no it didnt fix the problem, i really dont want to reflash to another rom, but i cant answer incoming calls?

Ok try this one last time. Go to Adv Config, under phone, you should see a setting for enable answer using any key. Say yes to that and Soft Reset.

I am using the full ROM, and I have the settings like that, and I dont see any issues with incoming calls.

Let me know if it fixes it. If it doesnt, install the Leo Dialer from post #4. But you wont have CDMA settings.

I was having the same issues with the dialer/phone slide to answer but now the problem im having is, when i get an incoming call the screen just stays at whatever screen it was at before the call came in( no slid hiss thrto answer at all) most of the time the screen just goes black except for the taskbar and the soft key bar(top and bottom bars) as if manila is shut off. the reason i say i think that manila is off is because the bottom bar's buttons change to what they say before manila turns on
("notifications" and "contacts", instead of "Action" and "Main", like they say when manila is running)

other than this issue the rom is running great !!! nice work!! keep it up!!!


edit - also, i have tried the leo dialer cab for post 4(I think its that post) of this thread both installed and not installed. both produced the issues above

I guess there is something going on with the Manila, I wish I can make mine do it. But I dont get many calls, and the calls I get, it is just fine.

Has anyone tried the lite ROM and see if the issue persists?

I am thinking it might be time to have manila as it is, without mixing up different manila pkgs like eReader, Footprints, docreader and stuff!

I think for sure it is the auto rotation in Manila that is causing the dialer not to pop up.

Go to tools>g-config delete settings Manila - Manila. Click and hold on it, and delete. Soft reset. That will disable manila auto rotation.

It should fix the dialer not poping up issue.

Let me know if it works.

it didn't fix the problem. when i get an incoming call i slide the slider to the left to answer, then the entire slider is green & i see the word answer twice, however i cant answer the call. its a shame because everything else looks & works great! i want to use the rom, but i cant answer any calls

flashed over and eran provisioning but for soem reason i can receivce mms but cant open them... tried to install joojoobee but says unsuccessful sicne not from trusted developer..... anyone have any ideas on how i can get the mms working for VERIZON wireless? i even hard reset and ran the verizaon carrier cab and than let it do its thing and than actived my phone through *228 and soft reset.... still doesnt come through.. anyone have any ideas? my data, call, and text all work without troubles but i need my mms to work as well. thanks in advance.

So you are getting MMS, but you just cant open it? Thats weird...did you have any skins or something installed for sms/mms?
