my cab manager is broken at the moment so I cannot edit cabs, just make new ones.

I tried to work this out but having trouble. You said to replace your txt but I don't have a verizon txt file to replace it with.

I opened the cab with winCE but didn't see anything I could copy.

Anyone else on Sprint having trouble receiving texts using the kitchen? Just trying to make sure it's not something i screwed up...I can send fine and see the EV switch to 1x to receive the text but it never comes through...

confirmed. I think this may have to do with my 2016 bug fix.. gonna flash a titanium rom (been running manila for quality control purposes lol) and see if it is affected. If it is, the 2016 fix will be removed and I will test again.

Yeah I got the same problem. I even ran my verizon keyboard cab and it still didn't work.

Well I'm not on Sprint but I just checked and I didn't receive some text.

The problem with keyboard cab is that it doesn't actually contain the layout file, it just points to it. I will see if I can get mikes layout file and post it up

edit: its not mikes, but its from the VZW rom:

put it in \windows and then run that cab from mike. I will make an EXT with both in them and place it in unused (here it is, just replace the one that I have in there for sprint and it should work.. I have no way to test as I have no VZW tp2..)

I'm running Titanium only Raid so i doubt the "fix" got cooked in...

it is in tweaks, not specific to build type. I just sent myself a text and did not get it. I removed 2016 patch and m trying again.

Gotcha...just found it and removed, recooking...

Having another cooks ROM load up at the moment just so i can make sure it wasn't just me...i'll reflash and let you know...

I am sure its my 2016 fix causing the issues. texts worked fine before i added it, since i realized they were coming from year 2016 and then I just figured I didnt get any more texts.. but I probably did just never received them. haha
