One question: do you know which package controls the hands-free activation that the phone tries to do after a soft-reset? Any ideas? I use my Sprint TP2 on Vodafone's GSM network so I don't think it's ever going work for me and I'd like remove it from the ROM.

Again, many thanks, not just for the ROM but for being willing to post the Kitchen too
I dont recall off the top of my head. I will have to digg around and get back to you.

You would want to disable "OMADM_UI_2_0_19172730_0" Found in the Core Packages. Try that and if thats not what you mean let me know.

Or, better yet, a 6.1 based kitchen with JUST the OEMDrivers (improved, I presume) from the 6.5 base ROM?

I loved everything about your prior kitchen except for the battery life; I could never get that to go more than a day. To the extent that your newest can fix the battery life issues (i.e., to get battery life more in line with the multi-days of Freeza's or Calk's (barebones Android-use) ROM, that would be AWESOME.

My two cents.

Scroll/Zoom Bar - Does this work for anybody? I couldn't get it to work so did a hard reset and still no zoom. Installed Stock ROM and I could zoom just fine. I am really liking this ROM but sure would like to zoom - especially with the ZoomBarPlus app developed over at XDA. Thanks.

Re: 2-25 [ROM / Kitchen] - 'Sprint Basics 1.2' Visual Kitchen - WM 6.1 Only

Hey everyone. Thought I'd play around with this since its been a long time...maybe too long. I can't seem to launch the kitchen in vista. I get an error saying it needs to be run as administrator. When I right click and the the program as administrator, it asks for permission, a dos cmd window pops up and closes, then nothing. Am I missing something? Is it a vista problem? If anyone else had this please let me know how you solved it. Thanks.

I have noticed something like this. Occasionally I will see a call come in, the screen lights up and you get the slider to accept or reject the call but there is no sound at all from the ringtone. It's like the phone is on silent (except its not) but on checking the volume it's still on Max for both System and Ring.

Seems to happen randomly, or at least I haven't been able to track it down. It means I randonly call my phone from my desk to make sure it hasn't slipped into this mode as only a soft reset seems to fix it.

Anyone else seeing anything similar? Or have any suggestions?

TIA

Shameless BUMP

so no-one else has seen this? Maybe I need to try the Posted ROM instead of cooking my own from the kitchen to see if I still get the problem.

Cheers.
