I just have to post to express my thanks to Mr. X for this ROM. I have been trying a bunch of ROMs lately, and I keep coming back because this one just runs so well. I like the organization (especially with the 3 x 5 start menu cab for my aging eyes!). I also just like how quick this ROM stays over time and how well it manages power. It is a pleasure to use.

I don't know about the new update but I'm still running the 2/18/10 build. Freakin thing is awesome!!! I have no problems with the ROM!!! If this was to be a burger for McDonald I would call it "McNasty"!! Thanks Chef.

so the past few days ive noticed that my phone is running pretty hot and the batt is gettin drained really quick. it dropped like 20% in 2 hrs...ON STANDBY. anyone else having this issue or is it prob. whatever i have installed?

Usually when this happens to me I just take out the battery and wait for about 5 minutes or until it cools down all the way and then insert, power on, and then power up again and it usually resolves the issue.

I had this problem a couple days ago an i checked active sync an since i'm syncing email from an exchange server my active sync kept syncing constantly an wouldn't stop. That was my problem so maybe thats what is happening to you, in order for me to fix it i hard reset a couple times an haven't had the problem since.

guys i still want to kno i can turn the vibration off i hate it everytime i txt with the kb from the touch screen it vibrates its getting annoying lol any help ?

From your home screen, go to settings. Click personalize, click vibration and move it to off.

Also from the settings, you can click Locale and text, then select text input and turn off vibration.

Yeah if your battery is draining and its getting extremely hot at the same time. Then doing what I mentioned should help some. Aslo I enable all power management settings and that also helps with battery IMO. Some say oh well Advance config isnt for the TP2 and some say that HD Tweak is not for the TP2 but I have had great results with both. I actually have them both installed and use both of them after a flash. Each one of those programs has power management settings, but the one in HD tweaks is easier. Just one button and boom its enabled. As far as Advanced config you have to manully choose all the power management settings. Hope that helps some man, but taking the battery out and letting it cool down helps me out in those situations.

okay they r off n when i go to locale and text theres no option to turn the vibration off i.dnt see it n it the.other option from personalize is not even chek so its off ..so im guessing its a reg!

darren piggy back'n off your post: these are oem android sounds (ringer,notices,alarms,etc)converted to mp3...for winmo users to enjoy...found them somewhere on the site...btw the "droid" (voice) isnt in the rar, thats what I was looking..lol

ps. if you finds the voice of "droid" file in the .rar pls pm me...enjoy

Here is the reg to stop vibration
HKLM-SOFTWARE-OEM-KEYSTATE And scroll down to Key Vibrate State and set it from 1 to 0.

I swear man this ROM is the sugar honey ice tea(sh*t for those who dont know what that means). I have been running this ROM into the ground and it took all the abuse I could give and didnt slow down a bit!! That is a first. All ROMs slow down after a beating by me. But not this one. So just last night I thought I would give her a break and flash dance and cut my cabs in half as far as installing them. Only loaded it up to beat her and now this ROM is effin crazy fast. I love it. I am patiently waiting an update...only to cure my flashaholism. Thanks Mr. X for bringing the fire back into me and my phones lives again. (sniff sniff)

agreed...the phone still vibrates even with the suggestions of how to turn off. :-( also..i am getting the ghost text that is really starting to bug the hell out of me! ugh. anyone got some ideas?? thanks.

Well I tried the hard reset trick, even did it five times, still for some reason its running very hot and the battery (extended battery at that) gets very hot and the phone is dead in 6 hours. I went back to the 2/9 version and just reinstalled the bluetooth fix, and now it runs great again. No fast die on the battery.

Yeah when I had the issue i was on the 3/03 rom. I flashed another rom an still had that same problem, but when Mr.X 3/05 rom was released it was fine. That was my only problem active sync kept screwing me over by constantly syncing an it killed my battery within 30 min, an my phone was hot enough to melt ice.

Quick question.....So I have all of my contacts set to their facebook profile. I changed all the pics so that they are from their facebook profile....problem is when they call me....the picture from outlook are still showing up on my caller Id. Is there a way to either delete my outlook pics so that the one from the facebook profile shows? Or set it to where the facebook profile pic is the default picture for all of my contacts??

The only thing Im really doing as far as battery is enabling the power management settings using either hd tweak or advance config. The battery is great without them but I just prefer it this way.

Just had a question about this great ROM - I am having a problem today with Bluetooth - it says my headset is connected, and the icon in the top bar changes when I turn my headset on, but it is not actually connected. It was working fine yesterday. I tried unpairing and re-pairing it several times, which worked perfectly. I also tried powering off the phone and powering it back on. No go. My headset seems to have plenty of charge left in it. Anybody else seen anything like this? I see that there was a bluetooth bug fixed on the 2/16 ROM, but I am running the 3/5 Sense 2.5 ROM. Thanks.

i reflashed last nite, and still my phone is running hot and draining pretty quickly. I used to get 2 full days on one charge, now im lucky if i get more than 1 day. My email is set to only send/recieve every 2 hours, but my data connection is usually running non stop and i dont know how to change that. if it isnt the data running, could it maybe be cookie home page 1.6.1? anyone have any batt drain with this mod?

My only got hot and sucked the batterry dry on the 3/5. Once I went to stock then to 2/9 my phone is runnin cool and battery is runnin strong after 9 hours

i didnt run hot or have a batt drain on the last x rom, just the 3/5 i believe i was on the 2/16 or maybe 2/9 prior...should i flash back to one of those? anyone else having this issue with the 3/5 rom? other than that i can only think that maybe the new cookie mod is suckin my batt life.

Go to comm manager and turn your Data Connection off......See if that helps...

Had the same problem with the MR X 2.1 ROM released on 3/3. I installed a few tweaks to modify the ROM's appearance and I assumed that I had somehow broken the bluetooth stack in the process. However, the symptoms I experienced are identical to the ones you describe above. My bluetooth status showed "connected" to my jawbone but I had no audio. If I completed a call, the audio wasn't coming thru the phone mic/speaker and it wasn't coming thru my headset. Voice dialing wouldn't work either. After awhile, the bluetooth audio would come through and then disappear again. It worked fine when I installed the ROM but once this was broken, I couldn't fix it :(

i had the last two x roms and neither got hot or drained batt, just since i flashed the 3/5 and on stock i would get usually 3 days on one full charge.

dont look at me, i always hit that sh*t. to respond to u tellin me to turn my data off, i tried that and it goes back on by itself #1 and #2 i usually have it running all the time and it never started killing my batt until the past few days or so
