Is this going to help with all emails? Most of the emails, that have been getting auto deleted, are attachment free. I wonder why all those folder management options are greyed out. Scratchinjg my head doesn't seem to help, at all.

Did you try going into start/productivity/email, click menu when highlighting your e-mail account, options, click the account again and change the send/received schedule? you can make it unlimited and then it will keep every e-mail, or change to 7 days if that's better.

Mr. X,

Just flashed this ROM yesterday for the 1st time. Switched from MightyRom 2.1 over the past few months. I must say I was really impressed with the speed of Manilla, Windows, etc. It completely blew the doors of MIghty's ROM in pure performance. I also think 2.5 is SO much better than 2.1 it's ridiculous.

So thank you for your wonderful rom. Keep up the good work.

Anyone know of a way to enable 7 bar signal strength with this ROM? I've checked the registry where it was, and I didn't see the key there. I'm afraid to try a cab.

I've searched the thread, and I didn't see any mention of it as well.

You know, I have always had that set at "just today's" as I didn't want to flood my email with all the thousands that I still have on the server. I didn't realize that that would also delete them after a day. Come to think of it, I have had it set to download 3 days email and it would be deleted after 3 days. Grrr. I think you're on to something.

I have a ton of e-mails on my home PC which keeps them all, I have my phone set to just todays so that I'm not loaded down on my phone. I'm sure if you change it, it will do what you want.

Hi Everyone,

I hope you dont mind the silly question but the Black on Grey theme is a little hard to read. What would be a way to modify that? I assume there are theme's that can be applied but this rom works so well I dont want to ruin it with a theme. Is there a safe theme out there or any reccomendations for a theme cook (per se)?

Take a look at post 5 and post 9, Cmylxgo and Cellguy make great themes that will work well and Young DC has some great wallpapers.

i couldnt get my os kb to stop vibrating either when sending texts, but when i use swype instead it no longer vibrates, so if it bothers you that much you can always install the swype cab.

Also...anyone have an issue with TellMe?? I still havent found a way to get it to work. The thing wont even open for more than a second.

Swype will probably eventually break the rom. Happened to me twice and other people. Screwy soft keyboard issues.

I had tellme working fine on this rom with nothing special to do. Unfortunately my phone sounds keep breaking (im up to 3 times now) so I didnt install after the last hard reset thinking it may be related. I never really used it much anyway.

Swype is the devil. It seems cool but it is known to wreck a lot of important things (such as email accounts) that only a hard reset or re-flash can fix. Fingerkeyboard 2.1 is my choice for screen kb. It has it's own configurator for sounds, vibrate, xt9, shortcuts, expressions, emoticons, etc.

TellMe works great for me, just by installing it. I don't use it very much but, when I want to use it, it's there for me.

maybe its swype that causes tellme not to work...hmm
on a side not, if anyone ever plays "one-pawed bandit" on phonedog, after you use up ur 5 spins, if u hit the back button on your browser u get another 5 spins, it catches on eventually but not before u spin a buttload of times.

only thing is that it gets really boring after awhile, and u still never win lol.

I have Swype and Tellme both working with no problems...although i do not use Swype exclusivley as my soft kb.....I switch back and forth between stock and Swype...but 90% of the time i use hard kb...

Does this change any of the other backgrounds or just the Dial pad?

edit: I tried the cab and it does not change my dial pad. It is still black and white. Does this not work on all backgrounds or am I missing something else?

This is a funny forum. If i knew what all the acronyms were it would probably make more sense also.

I use the stock tab with the black background and all the stock that are positive are supposed to have the price in green but with a black background they show up gray and are very hard or impossible to read. Is there a way to change the background on the stock tab only without it bleeding gayness?

When u use Fingerkeyboard does the name recognition not work until you hit the backspace button? I have noticed it on this and a couple other Roms....just curious.

Do you mean when looking for a contact? If so, it works without any such action. Other than that, I would't have any use for it. I also turn off XT9. I just want to manually type and not have to deal with suggestions.

Just in case anyone on Verizon is having any trouble with MMS, I used this cab and it works perfect. Its the same version that the Stock VZW 6.5 ROM uses.
joojoobee's always worked fine till the last week I could send but not recieve...Dont know what happened?
