PPCGeeks - [ROM] [06-18-10] MR.X Sense 2.5

maybe actually, I don't quite know with the TP2. I know with the TP1, a 32mb pagepool had MR4 running like a beast, but with the new memory management system, perhaps it doesn't make that much of a difference.

I've read setting it to 0 makes it a dynamic pagepool. I might try that some day, but this weekend I'm traveling a lot, so I may just use 32 until I get back.

im using a beta 6.5x set at 4 and its fast as hell if that helps when you game to change.

I installed the arcsoft mms cab and i still cant recieve pic messages, can someone help me

Look in the paperclip for Mr. X's thread and use Imnuts verizon arcsoft cab. Before you run his cab, make sure you remove any other arcsoft cabs you have loaded, make sure it's provisioned for VZW and run the cab, that's it, you should be good to go and not have to make any further mods.

Hey out of curiosity....OK.....well maybe I already changed my pagepool to 4 and is in the midst of flashing as I type.....So um......what does the pagepool do exactly??:scratch:

Edit: Going back to 16. It made my phone really laggy and slow.

Flashed the new Sprint ROM and ran it a whole 20 minutes.... :???: Back to this ROM again ! White clock, Android style slider and black taskbar. No unwanted crap and smooooooooooth =D>

Nahhh, just flashed the radio to see if that works better, but leaving the ROM alone... D/L'd it just in case you need to flash back to stock, but that's it. And it's funny... Mr. X's was the first 2.5 that was stable as hell, 2.5.2012, and what's Sprint using??? The same one I believe...

Maybe im doing this completely wrong but when i try to install the new rom it is opened in win rar, i extract to desktop, run romupdateutility, phone will restart go to bootloader screen, and then the computer beeps 3 times saying it is unable to recognize the device. anyone know why that would be or am i installing this all wrong, i usually run mightyrom and have no problems.
