PPCGeeks - [ROM] [06-18-10] MR.X Sense 2.5

Anybody install Opera mini on this rom? It uses Java (flyers graciously supplied me with javafx). Problem is when I try to install it the program downloads fine but freezes during the install. Anyone else having this problem?

Here is a mini5beta2 and java all in one cab along with a start menu icon. It works fine for me although its been weird lately since the board changed formats. Other sites work great. Save it to your storage card and once you install, set up opera link with your favs, you can add username and passwords and never do it again. just leave the opera mini folder on your storage card. Next time you flash and install the cab, it will set up everything.

I would uninstall current Java and mini and try this instead. Hope this helps.

In advance config when I change the dialer to default it gives me a dialer with a white screen. IT doesn't show the call history or contacts when I use smart dial.

oh, thought this might work. sorry about that. I think the native dialer doesnt play well with sense roms. the htc dialers are needed for alot of functionality with sense roms. Maybe someone else has a suggestion.

I am about to give up lol. Maybe just go back to a BB for a while :( I love my phone though.

Maybe it's my radio? I am using USCC newest one.

I'm grasping here, but there was a tweak in Mighty's 2.1 thread months ago allowing immediate hangup when you hit end. I don't have the tweak handy, maybe someone else does, or I can get it later when I get home. Not sure if it's gonna help or not, like I said I'm grasping for anything to help you. You can search the paperclip in Mighty's thread and see if a name jumps out at you of that sort.
