I figured that possibly some of the software i installed may have been part of the s2unlock problem. hard reset, didnt' install all of my software, and 24 hrs later, no problems.

One thing i hate is this auto spell correction. I type a lot of non words and it auto changes it to words is annoying lol

With the version 5 I have been running for the last 4 days or so, I have only found a couple of things I'd like ot see cleaned up slightly. Otherwise, this is the best ROM I have run so far. I've had about 6 others on my phone.

1. The keyboard is very small, would like to see the stock one or something with larger keys.

2. The phone keeps getting stuck on the landscape mode. May have been something I changed, but not sure.

3. The spell check, depending which mode you're in can be annoying. It changed several words to those I didn't recognize. Can this be turned off, but only leave the suggested words so you can select from them.

4. There are 2 "Keyboard Config" Icons under the Settings/System menu.

this is mobile shell related, not ROM related, but since you make mobile shell ROMs...
Is there a way to export settings from flash to flash so I don't have to redo it everytime? I've tried the backup in mobile shell but even if I flash the same ROM version, it still doesn't want to restore. Is there something I can copy and add to my xda_uc?

When I release my kitchen, I've sorta moved on again. But I do still have the device, so when I get bored with the HD2 there maybee one sooner...

I update stuff in the rom, but as far as MobileShell goes, I've used he same layout since I released this for the diamond. But MS does have a way to save your settings to the SD Card, I don't recall where it is. But that should do it. If your cooking, there are other files you'll need. Like qa_layouts.dat and export the
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Spb Software House 2\Spb Mobile Shell] key, and be sure to go back and fix the "\\" issue in the [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Spb Software House 2\Spb Mobile Shell\Menu\Programs\Icons] key of your registry export.

Hey, just wanted to post in anticipation, I'm getting my TP1 replaced with a TP2 tomorrow and can't wait to flash to this! Love your roms, RSTG. Hope your recovery is going well and that everything else is good too.

come on rstoyguy! you must be sick of HD2 by now(as i was after using it only for a few days) but nothing replaces the hardware keyboard, even the HD2's huge ass screen doesnt win over the best hardware keyboard on any mobile device in the world. Come back to us - we miss you!)
