I tried that app and it did the job but it seemed to cause an issue with some of the icons becoming that blank window. I'm rebuilding now and will try again.

BTW, thanks for the quick reply.

Rebuilt fixed it working great now

Seems the Long Press End Key PKG i updated does not work properly, you could always use RKeyboardControl found at XDA its a great app for setting you Hardware keys to have multiple functions. (I Use this and thats why I didn't notice the bug. It will be resolved in the next rom rollout which will be soon, working on finalizing my new beta to a 23541 final.

Never say final unless your are giving up. please dont give up! =)

Sorry let me rephrase that then, release quality 23541 Rom.

has anyone got feedback on the 23540 beta's change to mobile shell with the change layout/widgets? There were 14 downloads so far and only a few responses to it.

2 Questions:
1.) who still wants 9.7 opera? I personally only use 10 b3 and other reported memory issues with 9.7 even though there is plenty of ram. I may just offer it as a cab install.

2.) How is the new MS layout Minus the SenseConfig (allowing you to change backgrounds and Bottom bar) I personally am content with the styling of the Beta with a single Background for the Professional/Launcher/etc screens. I can make special request to change this background with a user provided background for them if they like.

Let me know as I am working to complete my release 23541 rom and want some feedback on which Package is preferred by you all.

Wirelessly posted (TouchPro 2: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50369; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

I like the beta as is. I do miss some of the widgets in the full Sense but not a deal breaker. Looking forward to final Sprint release (although what I have now is near perfect)

Can you please let me know some of the Widgets that you liked? Maybe there is a way I can get them back in.

Love this ROM, but...
I am on verizon using the Titanium Only and I installed MS on top of it. It works fine, battery life is good, plenty of ram, my only problem is that I cannot make calls sometime.

I cannot figure this out and this is the most important aspect of a phone. It may have something to do with this being based on the Sprint kernel. Flashing the latest build for one more try.

I am also on Verizon, and reloaded MS353.23529.Generic.v3.7z last night (the hardware keyboard works fine with this release). Worked quite well and received on call this morning just fine. But trying to make an outbound call using the MS speed dial, or tryng to dial the number directly on the keypad didn't work at all. I did a soft reset and was then able to dial using the keypad, but still didn't work from the speed dial.

I have new Test Roms for 23541 both Sprint and Verizon Coming, links up shortly. Generic and Titanium will be in the Release Rom.

Well I have it working. I went into phone/menu/options/cdma services and changed the plus code dialing and auto prepend to the bottom radio1 and hit the reset. As soon as I did this, I could dial normally. I did turn on location settings also under this menu, but doubt if that did it.

Not sure why it works though.

A post from Froader has a fix for the cooks. Seems to be something in the kitchen. Although it works, it always says Assisted Dialing. Maybe Formula can help..
